They're like... SOULMATES! They care and trust each other throughout the difficult situations like the Battle of Mewni and Monster and Mewmans harmony. While the majority ship Starco, I see them as just friends. I don't really care if they remained a platonic/ romantic relationship but their friendship is one of the most heartwarming gems in Star vs the Forces of Evil. It's really depressing to see Star and Marco avoiding each other in Season 3 and 1/4 of Season 4. They have loads of potential to become more than just friends. Since they day they met to the final episode, this show have become more enjoyable to include this special pairing. With the help of the Jarco and Tomstar ship, they helped developed Star and Marco's true feelings for each other. If only Kellco wasn't shoved out of nowhere, Star and Marco's friendship would stay strong, just like Nick and Judy from Zootopia and Jenna and Matt from 13 going on 13, Kim Possible and Ron Unstoppable.
