Top Ten Cartoon Network Shows of 2014

The Top Ten
1 Regular Show Regular Show is an American animated television series created by J. G. Quintel for Cartoon Network that premiered on September 6, 2010. The series revolves around the lives of two friends, a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby—both employed as groundskeepers at a local park.

Regular Show is amazing, when you think about it, it is the most logical show on T.V.. We can relate to all the characters, Mordecai is just trying to get a girl, and Rigby just wants to have fun. Benson is stressed, Skips is trying to be helpful, and Pops brings out the weird in us. Let's not forget about Muscle Man who struggles with identity and even High Five Ghost who is shy. All of this stuff is part of us and this show teaches us how to deal with this stuff. This is why this show is the best and why it's becoming a legend. And all of this was written by a 12 year old.

Very unexpected. Starts off normal, but ends up being really weird and unexpected, just the way I like it. If there is a new episode, you have no clue what is going to happen next.

It is very funny & naughty show involving different segments of illogical ideas & their effects and their solutions according to our own basis of life..

2 Steven Universe Steven Universe is an American animated television series created by Rebecca Sugar for Cartoon Network. The show's based around a young boy by the name of Steven Universe, who is a hybrid of a gem and a human. He lives with his gem friends, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl.

Steven Universe should be number one on the list. First of all, it's plot is greater than ANY show that is on the list. Yeah, Adventure Time is kinda got a plot going for it, but Steven Universe's plot actually refers to past events (Though Adventure Time has done this with Simon and Marcy). Other shows are pointless and random, they don't have a plot, they just do random and meaningless activities, Steven Universe on the other hand, it has a huge event building up to it, they have an intimidating antagonist, and we are watching Steven mature with his gem powers. They are ACTUALLY building their characters here. Aside from past shows, Steven Universe is the best thing Cartoon Network has going for it.

Ah, Steven Universe... In my opinion, this should be the first on this list. The beginning of the series is quite fun to watch, with Steven and Amethyst's antics, Pearl's worrisome attitude, and Garnet's strength. But once you near the end of the first season... Wow. This week, the final episode of the season aired, I believe, and it blew my mind. It has so much depth; much more than you would expect. Rebecca couldn't have ended the season better. Steven Universe definitely is one of the best animated shows on television now, along with Gravity Falls and Adventure Time. Definitely worth pouring half of your soul into...

3 Adventure Time Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake (voiced by John DiMaggio)—a dog with the magical power to change shape and size at will. Finn and Jake live in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo. Throughout the show, they... read more

Adventure Time is definitely one of the best cartoons created. A person from any age group will enjoy the show due to its humor, originality, and well developed characters. This is possibly the only show where the main characters won't be in every single episode and people won't make a fuss about it. One episode it can be about Jake and Finn going on adventure and funny things will occur and in another episode it can be about deep events where Marceline and Ice King reminisce about their past. The songs on the show are also great.

Adventure Time is definitely more than just a 'dumb kids cartoon'. It's gotten deeper in the last few seasons, while still keeping a fun, exciting plot. Along with that, it recognizes it's fans! How many other shows do that? And it's hilarious, and the characters are so amazing. Not to mention the morals?! Like, it's had amazing life lessons from season one (everybody makes mistakes, no matter what age, for one thing) and lasting till now (love is trusting others). One of the most amazing shows in Cartoon Network history.

4 Amazing World of Gumball

This is my favorite show of all time. This show should be number 1. Why do people even like adventure time and regular show anymore. First of all in adventure time, it used to be a fun cartoon in the first four seasons, but now it is just a whole bunch of junk and creators are getting lazy because all they are doing is just putting in gross, boring, lazy, idiotic things being thrown around and now unlike the first four seasons, it doesn't even focus on Finn and Jake over half of the time. Isn't it supposed to be about Finn and Jake like they used to do it. And then regular show. Loved it. Until Mordecai broke up with Margaret because ever since then, the show has not been the same. The show now sucks its fifth season and unless in Season 6 they have a episode where Margaret comes back, then maybe the show can last a bit longer. But then again, this show isn't for longer viewers which we can agree on. Now, The Amazing World Of Gumball is actually a show that puts effort into it, a show ...more

This is for the top comment. Your argument is terrible you are someone who doesn't like change, and that is apparent. If a show doesn't throw you a curve ball then it shouldn't be around, and that is why you could never be a writer. Margret leaving helps develop Mordakie and lets the creators bring in new characters! And your problem with adventure time is stupid because they are doing a terrific job they give REAL fans what they want and ask for and that's why it's so successful. But at the end of the day Steven universe is the best show

I would vote for adventure time but now, for me its just a bunch of commercials in between the theme song and the ending. Amazing world of gumballs is better than those above it. Didn't vote for Steven universe since dunno much about it and regular show? Dunno why...

Amazing world of gumballs is the best. A cat being friends with a fish, having a crush on some kind of peanut, having a teacher which is really annoying to me, who would ignore that?

This is one of the greatest shows on Cartoon Network to me! It's funny and Richard is also really funny. And I like that every student in the school has their own superpower! Carrie has ghost powers, Clayton has shape shifting powers, and the cloud has weather powers. Oh, and penny has shape shifting powers, too. That's how good this show is

5 Teen Titans Go! 'Teen Titans Go!' is an American animated television series produced by Cartoon Network. The show follows a superhero group called the Teen Titans, and shows what happens when they go home and have silly adventures. This show is Cartoon Network's revival of the popular 2003-2006 American animated television show, 'Teen Titans'.

This show is one of the best, I think it should be on the top five. Each of the characters is unique and anyone can identify with them. Raven for example is in my opinion one of the most relatable and likeable characters.

WHOA WHOA WHOA. HOLD THE PHONE. This? Number 5 in BEST CN shows? Whoever made this list must be high. This should be #5 in the WORST CN shows. No! Not even #5! #2! Almost all the Titans. Wait, I don't even want to call them the Titans anymore. All of them are just SO unlikeable now! The old series used to be Comedy, Romance,Drama, and just..Everything! This is toilet humor, lazy animation, and something NO ONE wants to watch. Hold up. Remember when they aired that episode 'The Return Of Slade'? I though Slade was going to come and have some epic fight that we can actually SEE. No, that's not what happened at all. They literally went to fight him, didn't let us see it, come back talking about how great it was(practically bragging), THEN Robin decides to throw a party, and the Cy and BB suggest they get a clown. KILL ME. Then they claim the clown is not like they remembered in their childhood so they make a potion and guess what they do? Turn the clown into a complete physco. Then we ...more

It's something anyone of all ages can enjoy. It features great super hero characters doing normal things in a super way. It's all great fun!

Alright, does the person who made this list know there is a show called teen titans? It actually gave Cartoon Network dignity (I guess)

6 Clarence Clarence is an American animated television series created by Skyler Page for Cartoon Network. The series revolves around a young boy named Clarence and his two best friends Jeff and Sumo. Page, a former storyboard artist for Adventure Time and revisionist for Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, developed ...read more.

A lot of people say that Clarence is a stupid kid's show, but I think it can be very nostalgic. It reminds you of all the little things you loved (or even hated) as a child. Like take for example, Jeff and Sumo. Jeff is like that kid you knew when you were little who was really smart, neat, and tidy, you might had been him! Sumo was like that one kid you knew that was absolutely crazy and actually pretty street smart, and once again you might have been like this character when you were little. You actually might STILL be like these characters. In conclusion, just give Clarence a try, you might be surprised

This show should be higher on the list. Clarence has many redeeming qualities it's relatable, funny, and very nostalgic. This show portrays the average day life of elementary children, each with their own personalities and own characteristics making this show more the better.

I would've voted for Regular Show but I didn't because it's not really considered a 2014 Cartoon even though it aired a lot that year, though Clarence did first air in 2014, and honestly, I like this show, I don't get why everyone hates it.

This show is beautiful. It is so relatable and charming in a way that not everyone can understand. This one definitely deserves to be on the list.

7 The Garfield Show The Garfield Show is a French CGI animated television series. Based on the American comic strip, Garfield, the series is executive produced by Garfield creator, Jim Davis, and co-written and voice directed by Mark Evanier, who also wrote most of the episodes for the Garfield and Friends series.

This show makes me yawn. It's insanely boring. The only use it has is to put a hyper three year old to sleep. The humor is dry and unoriginal, the CGI has no personality and the plots are almost as dry as the humor.

Qualities: Will put your three year old into a T.V.-induced sleep coma.
Quantities: Dry humor, bad CGI, dry plots, repetitive episodes, most boring show on any children's network.

Ill be honest I haven't like Cartoon Network for many years now. I haven't liked any of the shows on this list up until this point. I love this show so much.

This is the show that started my interest in Garfield, before going to the original as well as the comics.

I really like this show! It's so underrated! It's deserves to be higher!

8 Johnny Test Johnny Test is an American-Canadian animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation, for the first season, and Cookie Jar, for the remainder of the series. It aired from September 17, 2005 to December 25, 2014 on Kids' WB and Cartoon Network in the United States and on Teletoon in Canada.

Worst list in history, johnny test should be used as a torture device.

How come Johnny Test is the best Cartoon Network show?

It shouldn't be on this list.

This show is the worst.

9 Pokemon X and Y

This is my second favorite show besides Steven Universe. It actually cleaned itself up after black and white. It reminds me of the Indigo League. The opening is way better. Ash is actually remembering Pokemon where in the Black and White he like couldn't remember anything. Serena ans Ash thing is getting to be real good too. Ash actually goes on a date with her in one of the episodes.

If you siad this show is good then why do want it off the list? It's way better than best wishes, where ash had loser friend with loser Pokemon

Pretty good, but the series is getting more and more predictable

10 Tom & Jerry

Definitely should be rates number one. I love this show and the movies too and I am still watching it in the year 2015.

Ouuhh yea Tom & Jerry is my childhood and I watch it since I was 2. thumb up it you watch this on 2014.

This old show is still alive! Yay!

The Contenders
11 Ben 10: Omniverse

I like the other Ben 10. What happened to the old one. Now Ben is getting dumber and dumber.

12 Over the Garden Wall Over the Garden Wall is an American animated television miniseries created by Patrick McHale for Cartoon Network.

Among the top 15 to 20 cartoons ever made, this animated gem by Adventure Time brainchild Patrick McHale really hasn't garnered the attention that it deserves. Through beautiful storytelling, symbolism, and the wit displayed in the dialogue McHale really just creates a fantastic universe filled with great world building for such a small series. For those who haven't heard of this delightful 10-part miniseries, check it out either on YouTube or On Demand, and as you get to the final few parts you'll be able to see the true beauty of this show.

This NEEDS to be #1! I mean Regular show is good and so are the other shows on this list! But OTGW deserves #1. I mean, an amazing story, extremely dark moments, laugh out loud moments, sweet moments, shippy moments, and sad moments, etc. That is literally all you need in a cartoon, this is literally like Cartoon Networks version of Gravity Falls almost, (OTGW gets way darker than girlfriend) that's literally what makes it so great! It deserves to be with Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Amazing World of Gumball, and Teen Titans Go! And Regular show and OTGW can just switch spaces! I'm not hating I'm just saying that OTGW gets almost NO respect!

This show is just brilliant, no better words to describe it. It's like one of a kind, one of those shows where it actually triggers you to think, and come up on ideas to what the meaning of everything actually is. These kind of situations are always amazing. The music is fantastic, it's kind of like a mellow, creepy, dark, but sometimes up-beat show that really makes you reflect on life and what it could mean. DEFINITELY my favorite cartoon ever made. 10/10

This show is an animated masterpiece. Here's why
The music fits in with the tone
The characters have a strange connection
The plot is amazing
The moment that really touched me was when Greg was held captive and died after the beast tempted Wirt and by then he died and the last words he said were "Jason Thunderburger, that's the name for my frog" and passed out. Warning:Spoiler! Luckily he was in the hospital and recalled everything that happened. Uncle Grandpa is higher? And besides this was rated a 9.3. By few reviews and Uncle Grandpa was a 5.0 for negative reviews. This needs a revamp!
P. S I think it could be better than Ninjago

13 Uncle Grandpa

It's stupid but I can't stop watching it. I watched it and criticized it but I watch it still.

Too Strange to be bad... Weird Weird Weird... which makes it hilarious. Godd in 15 minute batches!

We love you Uncle G. You are ahead of your time.

Love Uncle G. He is ahead of his time.

14 Steven's Universe
15 DreamWorks Dragons/Defenders

Why is this so low on the charts? I know that it's definitely not 1st but 12?!?!? Also Steven Universe should be first it's amazing.

16 MAD MAD is an American animated sketch comedy series that aired from 2010 to 2013. Based on the humor magazine of the same name, the show features parodies of popular movies, TV shows, and other aspects of popular culture. Its rapid-fire delivery and wide array of comedy styles have made it a hit among younger audiences. MAD received positive reviews for its creativity and its ability to appeal to both kids and adults.

I used to watch and like it, but now I look back and realize that it was EXTREMELY inappropriate to show to young viewers! It was very offensive to some fandoms and basically just made fun of people. Ugh, I'm only a teen and I sound very mature for my age, but, what I'm saying is that this show was inappropriate and should have aired on Adult Swim, NOT Cartoon Network.

17 Pokemon: Black & White: Rival Destinies

Really awesome, all I can say.

18 Pokemon: Black & White: Adventures In Unova & Beyond
19 Total Drama Total Drama is a Canadian animated comedy television series which is a homage and parody to the conventions commonly found in reality television.
20 The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange is an American live-action/animated TV series based on the characters from the popular web series The Annoying Orange, created by Dane Boedigheimer and Spencer Grove, which is made for the television by Boedigheimer himself with Tom Sheppard for Cartoon ...read more.
21 Pokemon: Black & White
22 Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race is a Canadian animated television series that first aired in 2015. It is a spin-off of the original Total Drama series, but rather than being a parody of reality TV shows like "Survivor," it parodies "The Amazing Race." The series showcases different teams of two characters each, racing around the world and facing various challenges. It has received positive reviews for its engaging plotlines and character dynamics.

This is an amazing show, I was a little skeptical at first, since they replaced chris, but it was HILARIOUS!

I just love this show should be number 1 well at least number 5!

This came out on 2015...

23 Mixels Mixels is a 2014 comedy animated television series that aired on Cartoon Network, co-produced by The Lego Group and Cartoon Network Studios.
24 Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu

This cartoon is noticeable, and its at 19? Seriously people think this is extremely underrated. Here is my dedication of what I watch or my opinions
Adventure Time-Ripoff of each dungeons and dragons Mario and Zelda
Regular Show-I watch it a lot, it's good
The amazing world of Gumball-This was the first show I watched and loved on CN
Uncle Grandpa-what who came up with this idea
Steven Universe-Just okay
Teen Titans GO! -I have mixed opinions, first episodes were good but the 3rd season went downhill as did some episodes of S2
Clarence-Just dirty and stupid
Over the Garden Wall-Haven't seen it but I'm so excited its airing 6th of April!
Ninjago-Even though this is one of the last Cartoon Network shows I really got to watching, it's still good even though Cartoon Network are working on its 5th season!
Now my top 5 Ninjago characters
5:Sensei Garmadon
His voice is wise, he actually taught a very good method called the art of the silent fist and I ...more

25 Cartoon Planet

This wasn't even a show and it should be in the top tens only because it brings back Courage, Ed Edd and Eddy, etc.
