Cartoon Protagonists/ main characters that went downhill over time. I'll only be including cartoon protagonists for this list. Not side characters or antagonists. Like always if I missed one feel free to add it.
Timothy "Timmy" Tiberius Turner is a ten-year old boy who is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the American animated series The Fairly OddParents created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. The whole show is basically dead and Timmy is an ungrateful brat. I'm Actually glad that Butch Hartman left nickelodeon. This show needs to get cancelled
I'm glad I stopped watching. After watching this as a kid, I can't bear to see him today! It's a disgrace. One of Butch's creations ruined.
Brian H. Griffin, popularly known without his middle initial as Brian Griffin, is a fictional character from the animated television series Family Guy. I disagree because his political views are mostly good and he's the open mind in this wirld. He added quite a bit of depth to the series while still remaining funny. That he sometimes acts completely out of character is solely for humorous effect and not canon.
But then, the German market is a few years behind, and furthermore, I am a few years behind the current episode in Germany. Maybe in the meantime he became horrible.
He is not really a bad character but sometimes he can be a huge smart alec.
Peter Griffin is the main protagonist and titular character of the American animated sitcom Family Guy. He went from being a good father to being an idiot. Don't believe me watch the newer episodes. He beats up random people for no actual reason and tortures his kids ( Especially Meg ) He really deserves to be in jail.
Cosmo is Timmy fairy godfather. He's Wanda's husband and Poof's dad.
Cosmo is very immature and stupid, but also very charming and a loving father, godfather and husband.

Bringing him back in Season 4 was unnecesary and only to make money, he also acted way more robot in the later seasons which was awful because he was suppose to be a smart robot who acts human!
He's still decent in my opinion, just underused
