Top 10 Cartoons Made Before 2010 that Cartoon Network Should Show Reruns Of

Now that there's a whole load of bad shows on Cartoon Network, it's about time we go down memory lane and try to pick out the shows Cartoon Network should rerun. I am only including shows that were made before 2010 around the time Adventure Time was made! Now let's start our childhood memories! Finally, please respect people's opinions about the shows they like here. We're supposed to talk about good ol' shows that we wish CN can rerun more often.
The Top Ten
1 Ed, Edd, n Eddy

This was Cartoon Network's longest-running animated series, so Ed, Edd, n Eddy definitely deserves to have reruns on Cartoon Network. Please don't hate on me if you don't like the show. This show was my childhood. It was like Cartoon Network's version of The Three Stooges.

Ed: That's some good T.V. right there!
Me: Yep! You sure are right about that! Which is why I put your show as first!

No Ed, Edd n Eddy is stupid.

2 Courage the Cowardly Dog Courage the Cowardly Dog is an American animated horror comedy television series created by John R. Dilworth for Cartoon Network as part of the network's Cartoon Cartoons block.

Before Adventure Time's I Remember You, Courage the Cowardly Dog had Remembrance of Courage Past. The show will you make cry more tears than Clannad ever could and make you laugh at the same time.

"The things I do for love." -Courage from Courage the Cowardly Dog. Best line ever!

This deserves more reruns.

3 Codename: Kids Next Door Codename: Kids Next Door (also known as Kids Next Door or by its acronym KND) is an American animated television series created by Mr. Warburton for Cartoon Network.

This show and Dexter's Lab, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, AND Courage the Cowardly Dog still come on on Boomerang in the am. But it would be nice if they still showed these shows on CN.

The show would still hold up to kids of this generation, so why not give them a taste of Code Geass(whoops, I meant Codename: Kids Next Door)?

It probably wouldn't be enjoyed by kids born after 2007 and got their first smartphone in 2009. Why? Theey grew up with "shows" like Sanjay & Craig and Breadwinners.

I heard that their making a spinoff and it doesn't seem that bad!

4 Teen Titans Teen Titans is an American animated television series created by Glen Murakami, based on the DC Comics characters of the same name.

This is one of those cartoons that shows ypu that the medium is not just to market things to kids. It can actually tell a brilliant story and have well developed characters, while still keeping it very funny. I did not grow up with Teen Titans. In fact, I just watched it two years ago. However, I think it was better that way, because I was able to respect it more, and see what it could do for children as well as adults. Unfortunately, some people like the show less because of Teen Titans Go!, but that shouldn't cause them to like the show any less. Just rewatch the series to remember how great it was. It's a shame that there aren't many cartoons like this nowadays. The closest I can think of, as far as mixing drama and comedy, is Nick's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and even though I like the series, it just isn't as good as Teen Titans. If you haven't seen it already, then go and watch Teen Titans. It is a brilliant cartoon that the whole family can enjoy.

The quintessential Avatar: The Last Airbender of Cartoon Network. It took a group of teenage superheroes and mixed them with deep and complex personalities, interesting plots, great fighting scenes, awesome voice acting, anime-influenced art style, great villains, and a good balance between comedy and drama.

So The New Generation Can See The REAL Teen Titans Instead Of Cancer(AKA-Teen Titans Go! )

5 The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (also known as Billy & Mandy) is an American animated television series created by Maxwell Atoms for Cartoon Network, and is the 14th of the network's Cartoon Cartoons (albeit namely when it was part of Grim & Evil; the show is considered separate from Cartoon Cartoons otherwise). It follows two children named Billy — a slow-witted boy — and Mandy — the cynical best friend — who, after winning a limbo game to save Billy's pet hamster, gain the mighty Grim Reaper as their best friend in eternal servitude and slavery.

The Invader Zim of Cartoon Network, people.

DESTROY US ALL! Classic Billy, my boy.

Invader Zim is in Nickelodeon

6 Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an American animated television series created by Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network Studios.

One of Cartoon Network's most innovative and creative shows. Made by the same creator of The Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is a Cartoon Network classic with some of the most memorable characters and premise for a show.

The show had more creativity and memorable characters just as much as Adventure Time does. In fact, maybe even more!

It could be a nice replacement after The Amazing World of Gumballs sixth season ends

7 Johnny Bravo Johnny Bravo is an American animated television series created by Van Partible for Cartoon Network, and the second of the network's Cartoon Cartoons.

Johnny Bravo is a better show to watch than *shudders* Uncle Grandpa.

8 Dexter's Laboratory Dexter's Laboratory is an American comic science fiction animated television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network, and the first of the network's Cartoon Cartoons. The show is about a kid scientist named Dexter that has a sister named Dee Dee that keeps breaking into his lab.

Now that the accursed Johnny Test is finally cancelled, it's about time they show reruns of Dexter's Laboratory on Cartoon Network!

9 The Powerpuff Girls The Powerpuff Girls is an American animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network. The main characters of this show are Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. The show is about the Professor Utonium creating three little superhero girls that save the day from villains. This show has an anime spinoff made in Japan, three specials, a movie in theatres, and a reboot. The show aired from 1998 to 2005.

I, Mojo Jojo, will make sure there are reruns of The Powerpuff Girls on Cartoon Network! If Mojo Jojo cannot see to it that The Powerpuff Girls rerun on Cartoon Network, I will just head back to my evil lair and read the newspaper!

Yeah, it might seem girly at first, but it's honestly a great show that's made for both genders. The girls are all right, but what makes this series are the villains, such as Him or The Gangreen Gang or the obvious, Mojo Jojo.

Who could forget The Powerpuff Girls? While they currently have some sort of new series out right now, it just can't beat the original. We need reruns of PPG.

So The New Generation Can See The REAL Powerpuff Girls Instead Of The God-Awful Reboot

10 Samurai Jack Samurai Jack is an American action-adventure chanbara animated series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. The series premiered on August 10, 2001, with a TV movie called The Premiere Movie, before ending in its fourth season on September 25, 2004, without concluding the story. A revival was produced twelve years later, giving the fifth and final season that concludes the series, which premiered on Adult Swim's Toonami on March 11, 2017.

Samurai Jack is getting a revival on Toonami in 2016, so why not have reruns of the original on Cartoon Network?

Suck it it's ending after season 5

The Contenders
11 Cow and Chicken Cow and Chicken was an American animated comedy television series created by David Feiss for Cartoon Network, and the third of the network's Cartoon Cartoons.

A Cartoon Cartoon that is actually funny and doesn't go over-the-top with toilet humor. Also, the humor is better than most shows like Uncle Grandpa and Clarence nowadays.

I honestly disliked the show, it just felt like a Ren and Stimpy knockoff.

12 What's New, Scooby-Doo? What's New, Scooby-Doo? is the ninth incarnation of the Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon franchise Scooby-Doo and originally ran from 2002- 2006. The theme song was created by the band Simple Plan.

I think this was the best Scooby-Doo series in the franchise. But Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? and Mystery Incorporated were incredible as well!

Could do it again.

13 Chowder Chowder is an American animated television series created by C.H. Greenblatt for Cartoon Network. The series follows an aspiring young child named Chowder and his day-to-day adventures as an apprentice in Chef Mung Daal's catering company.

Well, it has just as much originality and creativity as Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Plus, the humor is more clean than what most shows on Cartoon Network have now. And a show revolving around cooking proved to be interesting.

14 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is an American-Japanese animated fantasy-comedy television series created by Sam Register for Cartoon Network.

I loved this show as a child even though I didn't know much about anime back then! Now as an anime fan, I love it even more! I think it could still hold up to the kids of this generation!

Cartoon Network has pretty much disowned this show. Would it kill them to show reruns every once in a while?

This was the first Cartoon Network show I ever watched.

I agree! They really need to bring this show back!

15 Camp Lazlo Camp Lazlo is an American animated television series created by Joe Murray and produced by his company Joe Murray Productions with Cartoon Network Studios.

Oh yeah! I loved Camp Lazlo! It was really popular when it came out during the Cabin Fever era of Cartoon Network!

I love this! I remember watching this with my brother!

16 Animaniacs Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs is an American animated comedy television series produced by Amblin Television label in collaboration with Warner Bros.
17 Dragon Ball Z Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of Goku who, along with the Z Warriors, defends the Earth against evil. The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable character virtues such as teamwork, loyalty, and trustworthiness.

Watch it... just do it

18 Robotboy Robotboy is a British-French animated television series that premiered in 2005, created by Jan Van Rijsselberge. The show revolves around Robotboy, a battle robot designed to resemble a real boy, who is activated by his human friend Tommy Turnbull. The series combines action and comedy elements, as Robotboy and his friends fight villains trying to misuse him. Robotboy has been lauded for its animation quality and its appeal to both children and adults.

Cartoon Network's very own My Life as a Teenage Robot. Mixes an interesting premise with good humor, awesome robot transformation sequences, great fighting scenes, an epic robot friend, and smooth animation.

Hell no! Robotboy IS a rip-off of My Life as a Teenage Robot. Robotboy sucks.

In my country they're rerunning it at very early times in the morning, but now CN is gone from my T.V.. Darn.

19 Tom and Jerry Tom and Jerry is an American animated series of comedy short films created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Best known for its 161 theatrical short films by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the series centers on a rivalry between the title characters Tom, a cat, and Jerry, a mouse. Many shorts also ...read more.

Yes, it airs on Boomerang, but few households actually have access to that channel.

CN should really bring this (and Looney Tunes) back to their main channel. It'd be a nice break from the Teen Titans Go spam.

20 Ben 10 Ben 10 is a media franchise created by Man of Action Studios and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The franchise revolves around a boy named Ben Tennyson who acquires a watch-like alien device, the Omnitrix, which allows him to transform into ten different alien creatures.

I love this show. Next to The Fosters, Teen Titans, and Ed Edd and Eddy this is my favorite CN show.

21 The Life and Times of Juniper Lee The Life and Times of Juniper Lee (also known simply as Juniper Lee) is an American animated television series, created by former MTV reality star Judd Winick for Cartoon Network. The show was produced by Cartoon Network Studios. It premiered on Cartoon Network on May 30, 2005, and ended its run on April 9, 2007. The series centers on the life of a preteen girl named Juniper Lee, who lives in Orchid Bay City. Based on Winick's adopted hometown of San Francisco, California, the city is a hub for magical activity and is filled with various monsters and demons, both good and evil. The magic and human worlds have been separated by a magical barrier, known as "The Veil," which prevents ordinary humans ...read more.

Even though I never saw all the episodes, all I can say is June can sure kick butt with monsters like the Powerpuff Girls can! And the premise seems interesting as well. Shame it only had 40 episodes.

I've only seen one episode on a Cartoon Network Halloween Collection. Seemed good

22 Mike, Lu & Og Premiering in 1999, this American animated television series airs on Cartoon Network and features the adventures of a girl from Manhattan who ends up on a deserted island. With themes of culture clash and friendship, the show explores her interactions with native islanders Lu and Og.

I suppose it's as forgotten as much as Nicktoons like Angela Anaconda. (Which was extremely weird but I watched, and Mike, Lu & Og.)

Pretty decent Cartoon Cartoon back in its old days. In fact, it deserves to be rerun along with other great Cartoon Cartoons like Ed, Edd, n Eddy.

I barely even remember this show. I recall it airing like ONCE.

Who even remembered this

23 Angelo Rules
24 Wakfu Wakfu: The Animated Series is an anime-influenced French animated television series produced by Ankama Animation, based on the tactical turn-based MMORPG, Wakfu. The first season of 26 episodes began airing on 30 October 2008, and new episodes would continue to air into January 2010 on France 3. The show is animated with Adobe Flash software; all the production is done in France except the special episodes "Noximilien l'Horloger" and "Ogrest, la Légende", both produced in Japan. The series is directed by Anthony "Tot" Roux, and character design is directed by Xavier "Xa" Houssin and Kim "Tcho" Etinoff.

This never aired on the network to begin with, and it's now a Netflix original.

25 Squirrel Boy Squirrel Boy is an American animated series created by Everett Peck for Cartoon Network. Before Squirrel Boy, Everett Peck was known for creating Duckman on USA Network from 1994 to 1997. It premiered on May 28, 2006 and ended on September 27, 2007, with a total of 52 eleven-minute episode segments. A series of six shorts was released in 2008 from January 11 to April 10.

At least it isn't *shudders* Scaredy Squirrel.
