Top Cartoons That Did Not Deserve Cancellation

Cartoons today are being replaced by what some people call..."cartoons"...they are terrible, uninteresting and NOT funny or well thought up...

So here's a list of the top greatest shows that never should've been cancelled, in animation.
The Top Ten
1 Danny Phantom Danny Phantom is an American animated series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It was produced by Billionfold Studios and distributed in Canada by Nelvana, a Canadian animation company. The series follows a teenage boy who, after an accident with an unpredictable portal between the human world and the "Ghost Zone", becomes a human-ghost hybrid and takes on the task of saving his town (and the world) from subsequent ghost attacks using an evolving variety of supernatural powers. He is aided in his quest by his two best friends, and later, his older sister, who for most of the series' run are among the only people who know of his double life.

Danny Phantom had a beautiful and unique storyline. It's character development was so deep, you could empathize with the boy's troubles. As compared to many of the cartoons nowadays, which seem to focus only on dry, pointless humor, this particular show teaches one so many values and truths of life - everlasting friendships, morality, discrimination, how blind people can be when they follow the crowd.

I love the relationships built in the story itself. The love triangle between Danny and his two love interests, between Danny and his ghost-hunting parents (who plan on destroying Danny's ghost half), and between Danny and his best friends.

The characters were given human qualities too. Danny's best friend experienced jealousy over ghost powers, his arch enemy faces decades of bitterness that led to plans of revenge, and Danny himself had to overcome his selfish desires of cheating his way out.

To sum it all up, Danny Phantom was a cartoon that should never have been ...more

An amazing show that is one of my favorites. I loved it as a kid, and I still love it today. Its one of those shows that just gets even better with time and you can enjoy it at any age! Although I did enjoy some episodes of the third season, I thought it was rather rushed (not to mention, but I think the episodes I disliked of the third season are probably the most disappointing of the series. ) This show has great and extremely relatable characters. I also think Sam and Jazz are great female role models for younger viewers. This show was truly Butch Hartman's best.

But when I think about it, I'm actually glad the show has ended with a very satisfying ending. You could tell that Phantom Planet WAS going to be the last episode of the series (everybody finds out that Danny's a ghost). Of course I still think the ending came WAY too soon but it was still a great way to rap up the series.

But if I'm such a big fan, wouldn't I want to bring the show back? I'm sorry, but ...more

This is the best show ever. After I watched it there was an empty void in my heart and no matter what shows I watch I can't fill it. I just loved it but I wish there was more. After I watched every episode I started watching T.V. series that were pretty good but not as good as Danny phantom. I watch videos about it, I watched every episode like 3 times, I even read people's comments about it and comics on the internet but it doesn't fill the void. We need to stand up to butch Hartman and beg and stand for the canceled episodes for season 4 that he just rushed into season three and get those forgotten episodes of season 4.

This show was taken off way too soon. This show had just about everything that could make a great cartoon. I've come to appreciate more of the show's creativity and how much of an impact it has had on many people. This show was Butch Hartman's love letter to Marvel comics and horror films. It combined action with comedy and suspense, with much added elements of science fiction.

2 Invader Zim Invader Zim is an American animated television series created by Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon. The series centers on an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk, and his mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race along with his malfunctioning robot servant GIR.

Best darn show ever! Invader zim should keep being #1! All of the characters are my favorite! This show deserves to be back on air making having new episodes

... You made this list just so Zim could be number 1, didn't you? Well, I understand. It's a truly funny and interesting show that died way too soon.

Invader Zim was cancelled because it was for age groups 6-10, but instead 14-17 year olds started liking it more. Nickelodeon did not put the show on TeenNick and was strubborn, just because they didn't change the age group. o_o

I guess people didn't like the gore...i like a little bit of sappiness, but not a whole box of happiness and smiles, so I watch this.

3 Animaniacs Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs is an American animated comedy television series produced by Amblin Television label in collaboration with Warner Bros.

Animaniacs had it all: beautiful animation, catchy songs, fantastic writing, and great voice acting. It had humor that both kids and adults could enjoy. It was excellent on all levels. This show also gave us one of the few good examples of a cartoon spin-off: Pinky and the Brain. Animaniacs did not deserve to get cancelled as early as it did. I would have loved to have seen it run for one or two more seasons.

When I was 12,11,10, (I don't know, but I was young), but this show was awesome on the Hub, and Fox (for the older people), but I heard a fact of it getting canceled was because there was an increase in adults viewing of the demographics.

Still, I can see that they may have run out of ideas that time, but it was an awesome show by awesome people. It should never be rebooted, by no means, unless you're a comedic genius.

#animaniacsfrlife.

Personally I love them...considering now most kids would love this Cartoon now! I know I would and I am 17 but...I showed it to kids and they Loved it!

4 The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius is an American computer animated television series created by John A. Davis. It is the first spin-off to the 2001 film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.

I'm aware that cartoons can easily turn bad if they stay on too long. Here's the thing: Jimmy Neutron still had infinitely more story potential to explore. I hope this show can somehow be brought back. It really deserved at least two more seasons than it got.

My favorite nick toons that should've been cancelled later or at LEAST 2011 or still go on

5 Pinky and the Brain

Pinky and the Brain was a classic that in my opinion provided excellent entertainment from kids and adults alike.

Would be sick film if made 2day

6 The Spectacular Spider-Man The Spectacular Spider-Man is an American animated television series based on the superhero character published by Marvel Comics and developed for television by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook.

Spectacular Spider-man was the best animated Spider-man T.V. show in my opinion. Greg Weisman, who also gave us Gargoyles and Young Justice, helped create a program that was accurate to the source material, had likeable characters, a compelling plot, and even managed to surprise many dedicated Spidey fans. This version of Peter Parker/Spider-man was funny, witty, and was a character with whom kids, teens, and young adults could relate. It is a major shame that it was replaced with the disgrace that is Ultimate Spider-man.

What can I say? It's a great show! The charecters are three-dimensional and have plenty of personality, the animation is top notch, the humor is hilarious, the Green Goblin's story arc was handeled brilliantly, the voice acting is great (especially Josh Keaton as Spider-man), and it somehow made teen drama interesting. It's just a great show!

It's a great show! The best show of the 2000's! It was nothing but but perfect! And where did it go? GETTING CANCELLED AFTER ONLY TWO SEASONS! I hate Disney, Marvel, and Sony for cancelling this!

This is one of the best shows ever!

7 The 7D The 7D is an American children's animated television series produced by Disney Television Animation, which premiered on Disney XD on July 7, 2014. It first air on Disney Junior block on December 2, 2014. then it aired on Disney Channel in late summer 2014. is a re-imagining of the title characters from the 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and their adventures prior to the introduction of Snow White.

This should be way higher! Ranked 1st! It's a darn shame I discovered it after its cancellation. It shold have lasted longer than 2 seasons!

8 Sonic SatAM

Shame on the network, it should have expanded on the third season and then Tails would have been given a larger focus on his role. Not to mention there gonna give Bunnie that too and introduce Knuckles or Metal Sonic. This is a much better darker interpretation than those recent Sonic games.

Bad thing is it ended of a cliffhanger. That's why it should be brought back. No sonic boom season 2!

Too bad Ben Hurst is dead so reviving the series won't work

Best Sonic show ever!

9 Teen Titans Teen Titans is an American animated television series created by Glen Murakami, based on the DC Comics characters of the same name.

Other shows here had a good reason for cancellation, like not getting enough revenue or they were hated before and now are loved. But the reason why Teen Titans was cancelled is one of the dumbest reasons I've ever seen a show get cancelled. Cancelling because the audience was mostly girls, and girls should watch Barbie and MLP instead of this masterpiece. Come on Cartoon Network…

A simply AMAZING show! It had stunning artwork and some of the most memorable character's ever seen in a cartoon (my opinion). Not to mention, its probably one of the best cartoons that created an excellent balance of action and comedy (also light and dark). Now we are stuck with Teen Titians Go, a show that cannot even be COMPARED to the brilliance of the original. (however, its not as bad as I expected, but it still defiantly has its flaws and I would much rather watch the original show any day! )

The character development as well as their interactions made this show amazing. The plot was well thought out as well. The animation and character designs were top notch in its time and still is today. The voice acting and directing is incredible!

It's was a great show but I never liked robin and starfire together I always wanted raven and robin but the new teen titan go sucks

10 Gravity Falls Gravity Falls is an American animated television series produced by Disney Television Animation that first aired on Disney Channel, and then on Disney XD from June 15, 2012 to February 15, 2016. The series follows the adventures of Dipper Pines and his twin sister Mabel in the fictional town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, while on summer vacation.
The Contenders
11 Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja is a Disney XD show created by Jed Ellinoff and Scott Thomas and produced by Titmouse Inc. The characters were designed by Jhonen Vasquez, a creator from a Nickelodeon show, Invader Zim . ...read more.

I know this show is for boys but I am a girl I still think it was a great show

This was a masterpiece. It needs a third season!

12 Freakazoid Freakazoid! is an American animated television series created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini and developed by Tom Ruegger for the Kids' WB programming block of The WB.

Freakazoid is absolute genius. It took everything that was good about its predecessors and made them even better. It was more funny, more off the wall, and more underrated than any 90's toon.

Freakazoid was, is and always will be in his own genre but got axed too soon..because of poor ratings kids were lame at that time or what

Just watch, and bask in the brilliance. There's never been anything like it.

13 ChalkZone ChalkZone is an American animated television series created by Bill Burnett and Larry Huber for Nickelodeon.

Just was so creative. Made me look forward to something new every episode

Wait what do 70s kids think when they grew up with Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings?

Season 5 was about to be upgraded to be good.

14 Wander Over Yonder Wander Over Yonder is an American animated television series on Disney XD. Created by Craig McCracken, it follows Wander and his best friend and steed Sylvia. Adventurous and optimistic, Wander rides across the galaxy to help persons live freely, against the intentions of Lord Hater to rule the universe.

Anything that's actually good these days will end up getting cancelled. It has been going on for a while: the networks, for some reason let disasters like Johnny Test, Teen Titans Go and Breadwinners stay on for a really long time. Fish Hooks, Yes, that disaster, ran for longer than this. This show was just starting to find an audience. With Gravity Falls, that ended to soon, but the creater decided that was when he wanted to end it. Craig McCracken wanted it to go on longer, but then Disney smashed a creation that was just starting to get some traction. Then, they killed it,vand They haven't been showing reruns. It was just so imaginative: it had great slapstick, The characters were silly, the concept wasn't like snything before it, and yet no, they didn't want it.

I think this show deserved more

15 W.I.T.C.H. W.I.T.C.H. is a French-Italian-American animated television series based on the Italian comic book series of the same name.

A masterpiece of anime inspired animation

16 Young Justice Young Justice is an American animated television series developed by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman for Cartoon Network.

The plots were getting so good! I mean I just don't get the ending. I mean why show a new villain and kill off a character. Yup that's right they killed Kid Flash. He was my favorite character of them all. I swear WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE CANCELLED?!?!

Why would such a good show get cancelled? The plot and animation was the best I've ever seen. Just goes to show that if merchandise doesn't sell even awesome cartoons won't last.

Come on any DC comics fan knows this show is awesome! It SO didn't deserve to be cancelled.

17 Rocko's Modern Life Rocko's Modern Life is an American animated television series created by Joe Murray for Nickelodeon. The series centers on the surreal life of an anthropomorphic Australian-immigrant wallaby named Rocko as well as his friends: the gluttonous steer Heffer, the neurotic turtle Filburt, and Rocko's faithful dog Spunky.

Take this off the list, it was an adult cartoon like the typical Cartoon Network shows, it should've aired on Cartoon Network instead of Nick.

Wish it was still on npw, should be number 1, and the movie will only be on netflix.

It should've been ON DEMAND is what it should've been

18 Tiny Toons
19 All Grown Up! All Grown Up! is an American animated television series created by Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó for Nickelodeon. It is a spin-off of Rugrats, and takes place about ten years after the original series where the characters are now pre-teen to teenage.Tommy, Dil, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Kimi, Angelica, and Susie now have to deal with teenage and pre-teen issues and situations.

It does not deserve to end I'm mean sure I loved rugrarts but that's when they were babies I want to watch something with kids my age!

Actually, it did deserve to end. Ruined my childhood of Rugrats X(

20 Drawn Together Drawn Together is an American adult animated sitcom which ran on Comedy Central from October 27, 2004 to November 14, 2007. The series was created by Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein, and uses a sitcom format with a TV reality show setting.

Fantastic cartoons. Wish it was still on..

Lol. It deserved to get cancelled.

Why's this abomination on here?

21 King of the Hill King of the Hill is an American animated sitcom created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels that ran from January 12, 1997 to May 6, 2010 on Fox.
22 The Critic
23 Hey Arnold! Hey Arnold! is an American animated television series created by Craig Bartlett that aired on Nickelodeon from October 7, 1996 to June 8, 2004. The show centers on a fourth grader named Arnold, who lives with his grandparents in an inner-city boarding house.

Could they not have waited until we got the Jungle Movie at least?

I think it might be coming back with a CGI reboot very soon

24 Totally Spies Totally Spies! is a French-Canadian animated spy comedy television series created by Vincent Chalvon-Demersay and David Michel and produced by Marathon Media Group and Image Entertainment Corporation.

I hate that this show has been cancelled without the company letting the fans know that its REALLY gone now and the fact that they just suddenly stopped making episodes and never told anything to us about it is just straight up disgusting

I really love the show there where very good things in there
I really like how they explored four things going on in their lives with school to Friendship and their families and keeping their secret from everyone else

It TOTALLY didn't deserve to be cancelled! But it's coming back this september so... Yay!

25 Road Rovers

one of Tom Ruegger's most underrated cartoons ever made, only lasted about a season of 13 episodes, and the humour was based on 90s culture which was just brilliant.

I just found out about this Cartoon. Why did it get cancelled so early? It seems like a good show. I'll have to watch it one day.

Road rovers was a awesome show! but then it was cancelled because merchandiser's were'nt interested! alway's about money...
