The Post-Sequel era episodes are admittedly pretty decent as a step-up from its Seasonal Rot days, but I really don't think SpongeBob should have to go on forever. Especially with Stephen Hillenburg being diagnosed with ALS, I see it as appropriate to make the third movie a tribute to Hillenburg himself in advance if he ever passes away during or after production before concluding the show peacefully. - ModernSpongeBobSucks
