Top 10 Cartoons Nickelodeon Should Show Reruns Of

Due to the success of my first popular list known as Top 10 Cartoons Cartoon Network Should Show Reruns Of, I have decided to turn it into a trilogy series based on what cartoon shows should be rerun on each TV channel. And the second installment shall be Top 10 Cartoons Nickelodeon Should Show Reruns Of! I won't count currently-running shows like SpongeBob Squarepants. And no Sanjay and Craig or Breadwinners or any other cartoons that suck! Anyways, let's begin!
The Top Ten
1 Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American animated television series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in an Asiatic-like world in which some people are able to manipulate the classical elements by use of psychokinetic variants of Chinese martial arts, known as "bending". This show is often seen as one of the greatest cartoons of all time and is commonly thought to be an anime.

While it may be on Nicktoons, it would still be nice to have reruns of Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nickelodeon like in the good days. It would be more easily accessible for young audiences of the 2010's to experience this anime-influenced masterpiece. It was essentially Nickelodeon's Teen Titans. It not only appealed to kids, but also to adults as well. This show could be enjoyed by the whole family. It's a shame I never took the time to watch this show as a kid. I would always be swept up in funny cartoons like Ed, Edd n Eddy and SpongeBob SquarePants, but if I could go back in time or be willing to take a break from streaming anime, I would definitely want to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I totally agree with this one. I believe this show was in competition with SpongeBob, but it goes to show how good it was.

One of the only animes I like. Please bring it back Nick!

Hell yes! Defiantly one of Nickelodeon's best shows!

2 Danny Phantom Danny Phantom is an American animated series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It was produced by Billionfold Studios and distributed in Canada by Nelvana, a Canadian animation company. The series follows a teenage boy who, after an accident with an unpredictable portal between the human world and the "Ghost Zone", becomes a human-ghost hybrid and takes on the task of saving his town (and the world) from subsequent ghost attacks using an evolving variety of supernatural powers. He is aided in his quest by his two best friends, and later, his older sister, who for most of the series' run are among the only people who know of his double life.

This was one of my favorite cartoons growing up. The setup is interesting, the ghosts are creative, the characters are engaging, and it could be quite funny (though the puns could be extremely corny). There are also some very clever ways to give messages, like having an evil future Danny to show that your future is what you make it. Maybe Butch Hartman should have stuck to this instead of some of his other shows...

The creator of The Fairly Odd Parents really proved he can be cool by giving us this classic Nickelodeon show! An awesome cartoon opening theme song, awesome characters, an original premise, and epic action scenes and fights are enough to cement this cartoon as a beloved Nickelodeon show. It's too bad we have to put up with the decline of The Fairly Odd Parents instead of getting a return of this series.

Not my favorite, but dearly missed

3 Invader Zim Invader Zim is an American animated television series created by Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon. The series centers on an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk, and his mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race along with his malfunctioning robot servant GIR.

This was Nickelodeon's The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy! It was a shame this satiric gem of Nickelodeon was cancelled due to low ratings! Seriously? How'd it get low ratings? The creators were even planning a television movie based on the series but cancelled it as well! Nickelodeon, you had all that potential and you just threw it in the trash. Instead, we have to put up with trash like Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners. Now that the show has a dedicated fan base and has worked its way into Hot Topic merchandise, maybe we can finally get reruns of Invader Zim on Nickelodeon?

I know it's been quite a while since the news about the new T.V. movie for Invader Zim has been out, but I just want to say that I'm so hyped about the upcoming television movie that they're going to make for Invader Zim! I've watched quite a few episodes of the show when I was younger and I was very captured by not only the show's incredible animation and action sequences, but also its use of surreal and dark humor along with over-the-top and well-written characters as well! I remember being quite sad that this show was cancelled too soon even as it was originally intended to have a planned television movie project that was eventually cancelled. Thankfully, it appears that said television movie project has finally been revived! And with Jhonen Vasquez and the original crew coming back together to work on this new project, I can't wait to see how the new Invader Zim movie turns out!

The truth is that I heard of Invader Zim after it was canceled and no reruns were shown. I really want to see this show and I want it to air on NickToons or The Splat.

4 Hey Arnold! Hey Arnold! is an American animated television series created by Craig Bartlett that aired on Nickelodeon from October 7, 1996 to June 8, 2004. The show centers on a fourth grader named Arnold, who lives with his grandparents in an inner-city boarding house.

This was one of my mom's favorite cartoons, and I wasn't the biggest fan of it when I was little. Now, though, I really enjoy it. The setup is basically kids being kids, like Peanuts but less of a downer. And yes, Helga is one of the best female characters from Nickelodeon. Her best episode is Helga on the Couch, which most people would agree with. There was no satisfying conclusion, but hey, us fans have all got the T.V. movies to look forward to!

Unfortunately, I have never watched Hey Arnold before. But, there is no denying that the nostalgia and love for this series is well-deserving. The show seems to have characters that you can relate to, along with great episodes and can be compared to the greatness of Ed, Edd n Eddy. Seriously, I wish I could have watched this show when I was younger. They should show reruns of this instead of that retarded Sanjay and Craig.

I should probably try to watch all the episodes of Hey Arnold! before that new Jungle Movie that's supposed to come out this year debuts on the Nickelodeon television cable channel. I've never gotten into it as a kid, but I've heard so many great things about it and how much people who have watched it love it for its entertaining characters, endearing plots, and how relatable it is to audiences of all ages.

I didn't like Hey Arnold! that much when I was little. I would really only watch it if nothing else was on. But coming back to it now, I see what an awesome show it is. They're reviving it now though! With a two-part T.V. movie! TJM is happening!

5 My Life as a Teenage Robot My Life as a Teenage Robot is an American animated science fantasy television series created by Rob Renzetti for Nickelodeon.

Yes, I do remember watching this show as a kid. A somewhat unique art style (I like how the main female lead is drawn since she looks anime-influenced), diverse and well-thought out episodes, good characters, and of course, a unique premise fit the standards for a good Nickelodeon series.

I miss this show a lot...

6 Rugrats Rugrats is an American animated television series created by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó and Paul Germain for Nickelodeon.

While some people may hate if for the art style and that the show focuses on babies, I still cherish Rugrats for the uniqueness and creativity it had. This show proved that a show about babies can not only appeal to young toddlers and kids, but even some teenagers and adults as well. Not to mention it was considered one of Nickelodeon's best cartoons before SpongeBob SquarePants debuted. And it spawned many movies and a spin-off as well! How successful could this show have gotten?!

7 The Brothers Flub The Brothers Flub is an animated television series produced by Sunbow Entertainment and co-produced by Ravensburger.

The show sucks

8 The Angry Beavers The Angry Beavers is an American animated television series created by Mitch Schauer for the Nickelodeon Channel The series revolves around Daggett and Norbert Beaver, two young beaver brothers who have left their home to become bachelors in the forest near the fictional Wayouttatown, Oregon.
9 Ren and Stimpy The Ren & Stimpy Show, often simply referred to as Ren & Stimpy, is an American animated television series created by John Kricfalusi for Nickelodeon.
10 Doug Doug is an American animated sitcom created by Jim Jinkins. The show focuses on the early adolescent life of its title character, Douglas "Doug" Funnie, who experiences common predicaments while attending school in his new hometown of Bluffington. Doug narrates each story in his journal, and the show ...read more.
The Contenders
11 Catscratch Catscratch is an American animated television series created by Doug TenNapel (also known for creating Earthworm Jim). It was aired on both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons on July 9, 2005 and ended February 10, 2007. It is an adaptation of TenNapel's graphic novel, Gear, which is also the name of the cats' monster truck. The series features music composed by longtime TenNapel collaborator, Terry Scott Taylor. Catscratch's first DVD appearance was on Nick Picks Vol. 3, which came out on February 7, 2006 (though the DVD contained only "Bringin' Down the Mouse").

Hmm... What should I choose, We Bare Bears or Catscratch? You know what, I like cats better, so Catscratch! Catscratch wasn't your average ordinary cartoon. A show about 3 cats could actually come up with clever and random plots ranging from episodes involving space ribs to trying to quell sea squids! To me, the show had endless possibilities of what it could do for each new episode it got. Too bad Nickelodeon cancelled this classic.

Like Invader Zim, I have never seen this show and I want to. I love cats and the wacky plots of We Bare Bears so please, NICK GET THS BACK ON THE AIR OR ELSE!

Why did they cancel this again?

12 The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius is an American computer animated television series created by John A. Davis. It is the first spin-off to the 2001 film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.

Screw Planet Sheen. The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron will always be the better series. One of Nickelodeon's CGI-animated series, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron has smooth animation, clever plots, awesome music, and hilarious comedy. Not to mention it had a crossover with The Fairly Odd Parents! How cool can this series be?! Honestly, compared to the newer episodes of The Fairly Odd Parents, I think they should show reruns of this AND the older episodes of The Fairly Odd Parents.

This show is perfect for everyone of all ages. It had a progressive story line for those who like watching shows in order while also having terrific individual stories each episode to entertain those who don't care about watching from start to finish and just wants to watch an entertaining episode. Nick please bring this back

13 The Mighty B! The Mighty B is an American animated television series co-created by Amy Poehler, Cynthia True and Erik Wiese for Nickelodeon. The series centers on Bessie Higgenbottom, an ambitious Honeybee girl scout who believes she will become The Mighty B (a superhero) if she collects every Honeybee badge.

I did not add this to the list...

14 The Wild Thornberrys The Wild Thornberrys is an American animated television series that aired on Nickelodeon. It was rerun in the United States on Nickelodeon and occasionally Nicktoons until November 1, 2007. The show returned to The '90s Are All That for one night, and aired on March 21, 2013. The show aired on Nicktoonsters in the United Kingdom.

Another masterpiece made by the people of Klasky Csupo! I have only seen the main cast at work in the Rugrats Go Wild movie on Netflix, but that is all I need to see to know that The Wild Thornberrys is a good show. Originality is one of the best qualities of making a good cartoon, and Klasky Csupo does that again with this show. Seriously, you won't find another show about a family who travels around trying to make wildlife documentaries.

15 Sanjay and Craig Sanjay and Craig is an American animated comedy television series that aired on Nickelodeon from May 25, 2013, to July 29, 2016, for three seasons and 60 episodes. The series is about a 12-year-old boy named Sanjay Patel who owns a talking pet snake named Craig.

Sanjay and Craig my ass. This show is just 2 retards shaking their asses.

This would make a great show for Nickelodeon to rerun.

"Great show for Nickelodeon to rerun" my ass.

16 Rocko's Modern Life Rocko's Modern Life is an American animated television series created by Joe Murray for Nickelodeon. The series centers on the surreal life of an anthropomorphic Australian-immigrant wallaby named Rocko as well as his friends: the gluttonous steer Heffer, the neurotic turtle Filburt, and Rocko's faithful ...read more.
17 Rocket Power Rocket Power is an American animated television series. The series debuted on Nickelodeon on August 16, 1999. The series ended on July 30, 2004 after four seasons.

Haven't watched it yet, but I think I caught a few glimpses of it when I was younger. Rocket Power is another one of Nickelodeon's original series that combines cool characters, the iconic art style of Klasky Csupo, a premise of four kids who go on misadventures involving extreme sports, and some awesome moments of action at work as well.

18 Max & Ruby Max & Ruby is a Canadian children's animated television series produced by Nelvana Limited based on the book series by Rosemary Wells.
19 6teen 6teen is a Canadian animated sitcom originally produced by Nelvana, with the final season produced by Fresh TV. It premiered on November 7, 2004 on Teletoon.
20 El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera El Tigre, or El Tigre II is the half superhero and half supervillain form of Manny Rivera. As such, El Tigre is what most of the show, El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera revolves around. Manny has used his El Tigre powers to be a hero to stop supervillains but has also committed evil deeds such ...read more.
21 The Legend of Korra The Legend of Korra is an American animated television series that aired on the Nickelodeon television network from 2012 to 2014. It was created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino as a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

To think that the last few episodes were aired online instead of television... What's wrong with Nickelodeon? This series deserves better than that.

22 Fanboy and Chum Chum Fanboy & Chum Chum is an American 3D CGI animated television series created by Eric Robles for Nickelodeon. It is based on Fanboy, an animated short created by Robles for Nicktoons and Frederator Studios, which was broadcast August 14, 2009 to July 12, 2014 on Random! Cartoons. The series was first broadcast October 12, 2009 on Nickelodeon as a preview, then officially premiered November 6, 2009 after SpongeBob's Truth or Square.

Hell to the no. This show is what made Nickelodeon go downhill. It doesn't deserve to show reruns on the main channel or even Nicktoons.

This show is basically Breadwinners's precursor. So I'm glad they scrapped it.

23 Aaahh!!! Real Monsters Aaahh!!! Real Monsters is an American animated television series developed by Klasky Csupo for Nickelodeon.
24 Recess Recess is an American animated television series created by Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere and produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, with animation done by Grimsaem, Plus One Animation, Sunwoo Animation, and Toon City.

Um... Recess is a great show and all but it's a Disney show.

25 Oswald Oswald is a safety-conscious but fun-loving octopus who lives in an apartment complex in Big City with his dog, Weenie. His neighborhood is peopled with colorful characters like his pal, Henry the Penguin, Madame Butterfly, who runs the Big Diner, and her daughter, Catrina Caterpillar. Oswald likes to play the piano and sing, and he always does whatever he can to help his friends and neighbors.

I remember seeing episodes of it as a child. They were pretty cute and heartwarming. Much better than showing reruns of Dora the Explorer.
