There are some cartoons which basically copy others, and these are the cartoons we all know and love that have been copied the most.

SpongeBob is currently the most popular show on Nickelodeon, as well as the longest running show, running for 23 years, and is beginning its 13th season. The show revolves around a sea sponge called SpongeBob SquarePants and his adventures under the sea. The show is considered to be one of the best Nickelodeon and cartoon shows of all time.

Family Guy and South Park don't copy other cartoons, they joke about them. I don't know who copied these cartoons even though I have seen these cartoons in a lot other cartoons

Fun fact: SpongeBob SquarePants also rips off itself! A few episodes of Modern SpongeBob use recycled plots from previous episodes!

Just to clarify, this is a list about cartoons that many other cartoons try to plagiarize, not about cartoon that plagiarize others.

Ren and Stimpy was the original gross-out show. Ever since, shows have been trying to copy Ren and Stimpy. Even Disney occasionally tries to rip off Ren and Stimpy. John Kricfalusi himself said that he's sick of gross-out humor.
