Cartoons With the Worst Looking Animation

The Top Ten
1 The Problem Solverz The Problem Solverz is an American animated television series that aired on Cartoon Network. Created by Ben Jones, it follows Alfe, Horace, and Roba, a group of detectives in their troubled town, Farboro.

The style is very ugly... The characters are very weird and ugly. Most of the characters have reptile eyes and have a gross mouth... But Alfe is worse! He is a ugly creature. People say he is made of poop. Also, the colors are very bright. It looks like this show was drawn only with pixel art. Because if you look closer on some episodes, you can see pixel art. by the way it's not worse than other ugly cartoon that I don't remember...

How Is Adventure Time Higher Than This? At Least That Show Didn't Give People Seizures. Seriously This Should Be Number One! Not Number Three!

Horrible character designs, horrible colors/colours what look like they've come straight from Electric Soldier polygon, and plus one of the characters is pretty much a brown butt.

This Has Like The Worst-Looking Animation I Have Ever Seen In My Entire Life! There Is No Show That Can Be Uglier Than This Pile Of Crap.

2 Angela Anaconda Angela Anaconda is a Canadian–American children's television series created by Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose, the latter of whom who also voices the title character.

I am... so confused on so many levels. Why is there a show like this? It feels like one of those worst nightmares with the character designs, except they look obscure and realistic. Why is the voice acting so terrible here? Why is the animation so horrendous? Why is the plot out of nowhere? Who thought this was a good idea? Why does it feel like there was no quality check on this whatsoever? This is... fascinatingly bad. I can’t think of a better candidate for another review.

I can't believe this is not number 1! I mean every character in this show is ugly and the main character deserved to be burned with acid.

Please put this at number 1.Even Phantomstrider ranked this number 1 on the Ugliest Cartoons and worst canadian cartoons lists.

Oh, gosh, this is nightmare fuel! Especially when these hideous, grey-skinned abominations move!

I've changed my mind about Peppa Pig having the worst animation ever (it still is the worst show ever though). This animation looks like A 6-YEAR OLD MADE IT ON MS PAINT. I always use the company to make drawers but they are great!

Most of these are understandable, but this show's animation makes me SICK!

Does this really count? I mean, the poor animation seems intentional.

No comment. Everything about this show has already been said.

Seriously? How is this below Adventure Time? Adventure Time's animation is honestly pretty clean for an animated series.

The animation is extremely lazy and feels like they're skipping the frames on purpose.

I don't mind some toilet jokes but when they twerk at the camera every 5 seconds it gets annoying.

5 Fanboy and Chum Chum Fanboy & Chum Chum is an American 3D CGI animated television series created by Eric Robles for Nickelodeon. It is based on Fanboy, an animated short created by Robles for Nicktoons and Frederator Studios, which was broadcast August 14, 2009 to July 12, 2014 on Random! Cartoons. The series was first broadcast October 12, 2009 on Nickelodeon as a preview, then officially premiered November 6, 2009 after SpongeBob's Truth or Square.

CGI can look good if you put actual effort into it.

They weren't trying here.

Their character designs reminds me of "The Cramp Twins"

This is why I hate CGI.

6 Adventure Time Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake (voiced by John DiMaggio)—a dog with the magical power to change shape and size at will. Throughout the show, they interact with the other main characters Princess Bubblegum (voiced by Hynden Walch), the Ice King (voiced by Tom Kenny), and Marceline the Vampire Queen (voiced by Olivia Olson). Adventure Time has some of the best animation in cartoon history. I only put it behind Avatar when it comes to best animation in an American cartoon.

The animation is great but the way characters like Finn, Bubble Princess and Marceline are drawn is just plain odd/weird/strange and stupid.

Adventure Time has some of the best animation in cartoon history. Without bias, I really mean that. I only put it behind Avatar when it comes

Mis-adventure time is the worst animated thing ever because mi-stakes is the worst animated thing ever

7 Mega Babies Mega Babies is a Canadian animated series created by the Tremblay brothers, Christian and Yvon, who previously had made the H-B's show SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron.

It stars creator Thurop Van Orman as the voice of Flapjack, a naive young boy who was raised by a whale named Bubbie and is mentored by a salty sea pirate called Captain K'nuckles.

Flapjack's art is very unique.

9 The Ren & Stimpy Show The Ren & Stimpy Show, often simply referred to as Ren & Stimpy, is an American animated television series created by John Kricfalusi for Nickelodeon.

The animation style for this isn't even that bad. It's decent. It's not the best animation ever but I still wouldn't put it on this list

This and cartoons after is when animations started to go down hill.

Adult Party Cartoon MOST DEFINITELY. Nickelodeon is good.

10 The Brothers Grunt The Brothers Grunt is a Canadian-American animated comedy television series by Ed, Edd n Eddy creator Danny Antonucci that originally aired from August 15, 1994 to April 9, 1995 on MTV.

To think this is from the same person who gave us Ed, Edd n Eddy... I can only use two tropes to describe this show: Nightmare Fuel and So Bad, It's Horrible. Just seeing glimpses of these deformed degenerates and their straining and bulging blood veins is the epitome of Body Horror done terribly...

I felt sick seeing the animation for the first time

This show has a very disgusting art style.

The Contenders

The show is loosely based on the antagonists that appeared in Browngardt's animated short, Uncle Grandpa, and employs Mike Conte of the heavy metal band Early Man as composer.

Animation was pretty good. I think most people have an issue with the character designs and even I didn't mind those (except for that disgusting green ball-shaped monster)

Just repulsive and painful to look at.
A talking ass, a green ball of acne, a blue zombie clone of Ren Hoek and a purple saber-toothed Satan's lovechild. Ugh...

I Respect Your Opinion. To Me The Animation Is Decent.

One of the characters is a butt called "Fart" not joking.

This is a good anime, but the characters looks way skinny and the animation is just meh. Also BigBrotherYESTotalDramaNO a anime is A CARTOON.

While its not that bad a show the animation is just plain weird and ugly.

The animation here is fantastic.

You mean the 4kids version right?

TV-14: How do you like this hip-hop cartoon, MTV?!
MTV: It looks pretty OK!
TV-14: Well, let's see... It felt like a Monday-Friday show.
MTV: Can you describe about this cartoon?
TV-14: Well, let's see... The theme song introduces DJ Tech, Karaz, Chino and Scooter. And then it's not a sitcom, it's an animated series. And the final episode is the walks into the sunset scene.
MTV: The walks into the sunset scene?! I guess that means it's the same as Beavis and Butthead.
TV-14: That's right, MTV! Think you could bring this show to MTV Classic?
MTV: Yes!

20 ToddWorld

This has to be number one. You actively need to TRY to make animation this bad-looking.

22 Clutch Cargo

Animators back in the day clearly did not know how to animate characters mouths moving so they took the easy way out and put their own mouths over the badly drawn characters, the characters barely move and when they did its all done badly.

Awful animation anytime the characters talked their mouths would be replaced with someone's actual mouth.

23 Clarence Clarence is an American animated television series created by Skyler Page for Cartoon Network. The series revolves around a young boy named Clarence and his two best friends Jeff and Sumo. Page, a former storyboard artist for Adventure Time and revisionist for Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, developed the series at Cartoon Network Studios as part of their shorts development program in 2012.

Clarence looks like a walrus.

He's got a giant butt.

24 El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera El Tigre, or El Tigre II is the half superhero and half supervillain form of Manny Rivera.
