Top 10 Celebrities Accused of Sexual Misconduct in 2017

These are celebrities who have been accused this year of sexual harassment, sexual assault, etc.
The Top Ten
1 Harvey Weinstein Harvey Weinstein (born March 19, 1952) is an American former film producer and convicted sex offender. He and his brother, Bob Weinstein, co-founded the entertainment company Miramax, which produced successful independent films including Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989); The Crying Game (1992); Pulp Fiction (1994); Heavenly Creatures (1994); Flirting with Disaster (1996); and Shakespeare in Love (1998). Weinstein won an Academy Award for producing Shakespeare in Love and seven Tony Awards for plays and musicals, including The Producers, Billy Elliot the Musical, and August: Osage County. After leaving Miramax, Weinstein and his brother Bob founded The Weinstein Company, a mini-major film studio. ...read more.

Harvey Weinstein is a film producer and is the co-founder of Miramax. He was also the co-chairman of the Weinstein Company up until he was accused of sexual allegations. More than a dozen women accused him of sexually harassing them. And he denied any non-consensual sex. As a result, he got fired from the Weinstein Company, got divorced by his wife, and expelled from professional guilds. I feel bad for him. Oh wait. No I don’t! Obviously, I had to include this guy. This is pretty much what started these allegations. They call it the Weinstein Effect. Ever since, more and more people have been getting accused of sexual misconduct. And it seems like it’s becoming a regular thing. Basically, this guy is the one to blame.

2 Kevin Spacey Kevin Spacey Fowler KBE (born July 26, 1959) is an American actor and producer. He began his career as a stage actor during the 1980s, obtaining supporting roles in film and television. Spacey has received various accolades for his performances on stage and screen including two Academy Awards, a Tony Awards, two Laurence Olivier Awards, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. He received nominations for a Grammy Award as well as twelve Primetime Emmy Awards. Spacey received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1999, and was named an honorary Commander and Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2010 and 2015, respectively. ...read more.

Kevin Spacey, whom you may know from things such as House of Cards, Superman Returns, A Bug’s Life, Nine Lives, and more recently Baby Driver, has been accused of sexual misconduct. When word got out about this, people went crazy. In October 2017, Anthony Rapp from the musical known as Rent accused Spacey of doing sexual acts toward him when Rapp was 14. Later on, some other men also accused him of doing the same thing to them. As a result, the Netflix original show known as House of Cards has been cancelled. Good for them since it’s pretty much impossible to do that show without Spacey. Apparently, one of the upcoming films that he filmed won’t be released and he got replaced by Christopher Plummer in All the Money in the World. Which literally comes out next month. So I guess Baby Driver is the last film to be released with him in it. At least for now. He’s a great actor, but I understand why they’re making these decisions.

3 Louis C.K. Louis Székely, known professionally as Louis C.K., is an American comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, and editor.

I don’t know a whole lot about Louis C.K., but from what I’ve seen of him, he’s pretty funny. And I was shocked to hear what happened. This didn’t catch my attention until I saw it trending on Twitter. Apparently, five women said that he asked them to watch him masturbate. At first this was just a rumor, but then Louis himself came out and said that the stories are true. He also said that he never showed a woman his “you know what” without asking. I guess he left out the part about them saying no and him just doing it anyway. There’s a sequel to Secret Life of Pets coming out in 2019 and Louis C.K. got fired from reprising his role in the film. They definitely made the right decision.

4 George Takei

This one is as believable as Santa Claus existing. It happened in 1981 he says, so report it in the 80s!

Oh my! George Takei is best known for his role in the Star Trek series as well as some of the Star Trek films. I hate Star Trek, but I like George Takei. He’s pretty cool. And I was surprised to hear about what people were saying about him recently. In November 2017, Scott R. Brunton stayed that Takei sexually assaulted him back in 1981. Apparently, Brunton was invited to Takei’s apartment and was poisoned with cocktail. And when he woke up, he was undressed and Takei groped him. However, Takei responded to the allegations and said this on Twitter, “I’m writing to respond to the accusations made by Scott R. Brunton. I want to assure you all that I am as shocked and bewildered at these claims as you must feel reading them. The events he describes back in the 1980s simply did not occur and I do not why he has claimed them now. I have wracked my brain to ask if I remember Mr. Brunton, and I cannot say I do.” Basically, he denies ever treating Brunton that way. But Brunton still ...more

5 Dustin Hoffman Dustin Lee Hoffman is an American actor and director with a career in film, television, and theatre since 1960. He has been known for his versatile portrayals of antiheroes and vulnerable characters.
6 Chris Savino Christopher Mason "Chris" Savino (born October 2, 1971 in Royal Oak, Michigan) is an American animator, writer, producer, director, and storyboard artist. He is best known as the creator of The Loud House on Nickelodeon.

And there are people who still hate him for what he did with Dexter's Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls, right? I know he caused sexual misconduct, but people originally hated him for causing the two shows' "seasonal rot".

The loud house will probably end soon like most of nick's show that are not spongebob.

If you don’t know who Chris Savino is, he’s the creator of Nickelodeon’s the Loud House. The show that’s pretty much the only thing that’s saving Nickelodeon. And the ironic thing about that is the show is basically doomed at this point. In October 2017, Savino was suspended from the studio after being accused of sexual harassment. And these rumors have been going on for at least a decade. Apparently, a dozen women accused him of this behavior. Since he got suspended, there was still a chance that he would return. But then it was later confirmed that he straight up got fired. And that kind of worries me. I feel like the show might meet the same fate as SpongeBob. I don’t know if the Loud House will still have its charm with Savino gone. There’s even a theatrical movie coming out in 2020. I guess we’ll see what happens.

7 Casey Affleck Caleb Casey McGuire Affleck-Boldt is an American actor and director. He began his career as a child actor, appearing in the PBS television film Lemon Sky and the miniseries The Kennedys of Massachusetts.
8 Jeremy Piven

Jeremy Piven! I’ve actually never heard of this guy until recently when word about his sexual misconduct got out. On the day before Halloween, an actress whom, again, I’ve never heard of named Ariane Bellamar accused Piven of several instances of sexual harassment. Piven denied these allegations the next day. But then Cassidy Freeman, again, never heard of her, defended Bellamar by talking about her experience with Piven from a while ago. It did not end well. And I’m not finished yet. Some executive by the name of Tiffany Bacon Scourby said that Piven sexually attacked her in 2003. He jumped on her, “exposed” himself to her, held her hands down and rubbed himself on her body. I’m actually typing this as I’m reading it on Wikipedia and I am legitimately shocked. This actually caused Scourby to cry. Piven, however, said the allegations are false. He said he would never force himself on a woman. I’m not sure who to believe, though.

9 Ben Affleck Benjamin Geza Affleck-Boldt is an American actor and filmmaker. His accolades include two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, two BAFTA Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
10 Brett Ratner

Brett Ratner was a producer for many movies that I don’t feel like naming because there are a lot of them. One of the movies he was GOING to work on was Wonder Woman 2. But that might not be the case anymore. In November 2017, seven women accused him of sexual assault. It was even said that he followed an actress into the bathroom and masturbated as another actress walked into his trailer. There was even a journalist by the name of Danielle Berrin who said she was sexually harassed by him in 2008. So it’s safe to assume that Wonder Woman 2 will be made without Ratner’s involvement considering Gal Gadot said she refuses to do the movie unless Ratner leaves the project. I’ve gained a lot more respect for her because of that.

The Contenders
11 Bob Weinstein
12 Dominick Brascia

He abused Corey Haim, & then told the Enquirer that it was Charlie Sheen that did it!

13 Jeffrey Tambor

Very scary statement in that comment: "It's better to believe the victim rather than the person being accused of the crime unless there is proof that he didn't do it."

An absolutely terrifying concept, which is not only supposedly illegal, but is also totally against our judicial system.

Here's an idea; in EVERY case where it is proven that the accuser lied [seems to be around 20 percent], the person making the false accusation receives the prison sentence that the original person would have gotten.

If you know who Jeffrey Tambor is, that’s great! He’s a great actor! However, this might make you lose respect for him. On November 8, 2017, it was said that Tambor did some sexual misconduct to his assistant Van Barnes. They said that he groped her, propositioned her, and threatened to sue her if she spoke about it. According to Deadline, Tambor denies the claims. I’m not sure if anything has been proven, though. It’s unknown if these accusations are true, but for now, I’ve kind of lost respect for him. Sad to hear about this.

14 James Franco James Edward Franco is an American actor and filmmaker. His first prominent acting role was the lead character Daniel Desario on the short-lived cult hit television program Freaks and Geeks.
15 John Lasseter John Alan Lasseter is an American animator and film director, who is the chief creative officer of Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and DisneyToon Studios.

Wait, WHAT?! First, it was Harvey Weinstein. Then, it was Chris Savino. And now, JOHN LASSETER?! I do kind of have some forgiveness since he apologized for harassing women, but like most other celebrities on this list, I never expected one of the most important people at Pixar to be a sexual harasser himself!

Apparently, Lasseter is taking a leave of absense from Pixar after apologizing for harrassing women.

I still kinda respect this man for what he did for the CG animation industry.

16 Gene Simmons Chaim Witz, known professionally by his stage name Gene Simmons, is an Israeli-American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, actor and television personality.
17 Oliver Stone William Oliver Stone (born September 15, 1946) is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. Stone won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay as writer of Midnight Express (1978), and wrote the gangster film remake Scarface (1983). Stone achieved prominence as writer and director of the war drama Platoon (1986), which won Academy Awards for Best Director and Best Picture. Platoon was the first in a trilogy of films based on the Vietnam War, in which Stone served as an infantry soldier. He continued the series with Born on the Fourth of July (1989)—for which Stone won his second Best Director Oscar—and Heaven & Earth (1993). Stone's other works include the Salvadoran Civil ...read more.

This guy is a director of many movies. I looked through his filmography and I’ve literally only heard of one of the movies he’s directed. At least it was a good movie. In October 2017, a playboy model named Carrie Stevens said she remembers Oliver walking past her and grabbing her boob as she was walking out of a party. Apparently, this happened in 1991 and she was only 22 years old. And this was brought up after Stone dropped out of directing the Guantanamo T.V. series for the Weinstein Company. He even defended Harvey Weinstein. Stating that without proof, the man is innocent. Or something like that. But yeah. Kind of rude of Stone to do something like that to a woman.

To be honest, the only film of his I actually cared about was Platoon, I was never interested in any of his weird conspiracy films. I find Stone to be stuck-up & perverted, because why would he and the very ill Lindsay Lohan defend for Weinstein?

18 Roy Moore

So there's Al Franken of the Democratic Party that's a sexual predator and there's Roy Moore of the Republican Party that's a sexual predator. Both are obviously horrible people for their sexual misconduct, and it doesn't matter which one is worse. However, one thing that makes me think Moore is worse is how people STILL defend him. At least Franken willingly resigned for his sexual misconduct. And I find it hypocritical people hate on Hillary for defending a rapist, yet people are willing to give Trump a pass for defending a POLITICIAN perfectly alleged of having committed sexual misconduct. Seriously, screw Franken and Moore.

I can't believe Trump defends this disgusting child molester. And he also has a large crazy following too who think he's innocent. Yes, crazy followers, I added him here, I hate him and I will stand my ground.

Good news. He just lost to Doug Jones in the Alabama Senate race. And to top it all off, there are even Republicans happy that Roy Moore lost.

19 Dan Schneider Dan Schneider is an American actor, television and film writer, and producer. After appearing in mostly supporting roles in a number of 1980s and 1990s films and TV shows, Schneider devoted himself to behind-the-scenes work in production.

I never even liked this guy and thought all his shows sucked (yes, I even thought Drake and Josh sucked so sue me). But now I know he really is trouble since he's attracted to underage teenagers' feet. Sick creep.

We can all rest in peace knowing now that Nickelodeon has split ways with this revolting foot fetishist.

20 James Woods
21 Matt Lauer
22 Bill O'Reilly William James O'Reilly Jr. is an American conservative commentator, journalist, author, and television host.
23 Roman Polanski Roman Polanski is a French-Polish film directer, best known for Repulsion (1965), Rosemary's Baby (1968), and Chinatown (1974). His former wife, Sharon Tate, along with their unborn son, was murdered by followers of Charles Manson. Polanski is also a fugitive from the U.S. criminal justice system; he fled the country in 1977 while awaiting sentencing for unlawful intercourse with a minor.
24 T.J. Miller

T.J. Miller from Silicon Valley, Gravity Falls, Big Hero 6, Deadpool, and (ugh) The Emoji Movie was accused of brutal sexual assault at a girl’s apartment. Which involved choking.

25 Al Franken Alan Stuart Franken is an American comedian, politician, media personality, and author who served as a United States Senator from Minnesota from 2009 to 2018. He became well known in the 1970s and 1980s as a staff writer and performer on the television comedy show Saturday Night Live.

I'm a Democrat and even I won't defend this vile creature's acts of sexual misconduct. Hate to say it, but it's hypocritical how he's in a party that's against Trump and accuses him of sexual misconduct too (I'm surprised they haven't investigated Trump for sexual misconduct yet.), yet he's no less dirty than what Franken accuses Trump of. All in all, hopefully Franken is brought to justice and imprisoned for what he did.

One of the most prominent Democrats in Congress.
Oops, an old interview quotes him as saying he hates homosexuals, and was glad when one got killed.
He's toast.
