Top 10 Characters that Need to Appear in Smash 5
Even though it hasn't been officially announced yet. I am going to list some characters that I want either to return or be added
Aside from the Star Fox series desperately needing some moveset variety, we don't have any Smashers that use a bo staff.
They are in Mario kart. Why not smash?
Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is a fictional video game character and the main antagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, created by Sega. He would be a great villain addition
King K. Rool is a fictional anthropomorphic crocodile and the main antagonist of Nintendo's Donkey Kong video game franchise, as well as the archenemy of Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. Not my first choice but still an interesting choice
Miles "Tails" Prower is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the title character's best friend and sidekick. Why is Sonic's sidekick not in while Mario has his sidekick Yoshi AND his brother Luigi in?
Knuckles the Echidna is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a red anthropomorphic echidna who is determined and serious, but sometimes gullible. He has the ability to glide and climb up walls, and is a powerful fighter due to his spiked hands. I think Knuckles makes perfect sense. Sonic Mania has the &Knuckles mode so why not
We need more sonic characters for smash
Bomberman has a game on the switch so why not?
He would be a good addition

Unlikely but it would be awesome.
Originating from the SNES Donkey Kong Country, in which he is the CEO of Funky's Flights, this Kong absolutely tears up the race track with a massive +4 speed and +3 off-road stat, making him the most popular character in Mario Kart Wii online play. He's at least been in something outside of Donkey Kong games
I'd rather Funky Kong than Candy.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a character who appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by Sega. He is an artificially created black and red hedgehog whose hover shoes propel him at extreme speeds that rival those of Sonic. He would be an awesome addition
