Top 10 Characters Played by Gary Oldman

The Top Ten

1 Drexl Spivey (True Romance)

Oh yes! I expected this on the list, but not at number 1. Pleasant surprise. It's my favorite Oldman character obviously. First time watching True Romance, someone had to point out to me that was Gary Oldman under all that, it was obvious then of course. This character is one spooky cat. - Ned964

2 Norman Stansfield (Leon: The Professional)

Another good one - Ned964

3 Jim Gordon (The Dark Knight Trilogy)

He really has a lot of range. - Ned964

4 Count Dracula (Bram Stoker's Dracula)
5 Sirius Black (Harry Potter) Sirius Black (Harry Potter)

Harry Potter = Life

The best

6 Rosencrantz (Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead)
7 Lee Harvey Oswald (JFK) Lee Harvey Oswald (JFK)
8 George Smiley (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy)

Excellent - Ned964

9 Egor Korshunov (Air Force One)
10 Richard Crosby (Friends)

The Contenders

11 Henri Young (Murder In The First)

Hard to top this one. But isn't Oldman Milton Glenn, the sadistic Warden? And Kevin Bacon is Henri Young? No matter, I knew what you meant. - Ned964

12 Winston Churchill (Darkest Hour) Winston Churchill (Darkest Hour) Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill was a British statesman who was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. Churchill was also an officer in the British Army, a historian, and a writer.
13 Dr. Zachary Smith (Lost in Space)

A really bad movie granted, but I thought Oldman's Dr. Smith was pretty effective - Ned964

14 Sid Vicious (Sid & Nancy (1986)) Sid Vicious (Sid & Nancy (1986))

One tough movie to watch, although I think Oldman did a great job. I like the soundtrack, particularly Joe Strummer's "Love Kills" as the end credits roll. It's just hard to watch a couple slowly fade into oblivion like that. - Ned964

15 Jack Grimaldi (Romeo is Bleeding)
16 Mason Verger (Hannibal)

Now I really didn't know that was Oldman under there until I caught the voice. - Ned964
