The Genie is a jinn appearing in the Aladdin franchise from Disney. He is never given a proper name. He was portrayed by Robin Williams in the first film. He died today. That's how I knew him, from Aladdin. The genie is so funny. Robin was a good man. :(

I grew up loving this movie I could watch it for the rest of my life and never get bored, thank you Robin you touched my life and made me laugh so hard I would even cry we will never forget you RIP.

Incredible character in an incredible movie
The most brilliant, sincere and touching role without absolutely no tension, as if living as Adrian Cronauer! Surely the Oscar-deserving one (as well as all the others! )
This was the movie I liked the most of the ones he made. He was an excellent actor. I'm sorry for him. RIP
