Best Child Singers of All Time
This category isn't about career longevity, it's about who has the best voice as a child. Without question it's Jackie Evancho. There has never been anything like her in the music business... ever.
The most breathtakingly beautiful voice I've ever heard from a child. Jackie was a recognized prodigy with an innate understanding of music and natural interpretive skills that gave her the ability to perform in several genres and in foreign languages -Italian, French, Japanese and Latin. She has always performed with authentic emotion and skillful finesse.
Jackie is the youngest Platinum recording artist of all time, she was 10 years old when her first Record Label album went Platinum. She has had 7 consecutive album releases go #1 on the BillBoard Classical Chart.
Jackie just celebrated her 18th Birthday on April 9, 2018.
Yes, Jackie is good. But she still needs to prove herself as an all-time great. Being in the game for 7 years compared to Jackson's 50+, she just needs more experience.
She literally sounds like she is on crack and vape and coughing it up. But that's what makes it unique. A voice of its own. She won America's Got Talent and sings very originally.
Grace is obviously much better than Michael Jackson at the same young age. Though MJ was a good dancer, that's not really a musical talent. Grace writes all of her own songs, and they are great, plus she plays an instrument. MJ did not write anything until he was an adult, and never played any instrument.
I Love every song I've heard from her "Just the Beginning" album. I you have not see her redbull ACL fest concert, look it up and you can see why she is #1.
Grace VanderWaal has achieved so much at her age... It's amazing how she is so inventive...
Lead singer of the Jackson 5 at 11 years old, although the J5 never had an album go higher than #4, and his solo album back then "Ben" peaked at #5, but there were some #1 singles. Had his first #1 album, "Thriller" at age 23.
To the commenter who called him "the man", this particular list is strictly about an artists "child" career; age 15 and under.
Grace VanderWaal fans. Man I hate em' just as much as Jackie Evancho's fans. They ruined Anaya's list.
Why do people keep mentioning MJ's adult stardom on this list about CHILD singers.
One of the saddest, most cautionary tales in Hollywood history.
Over the rainbow..:")
Never really heard by US audiences, but as a UK star in the early 60's, she once had the Beatles opening for her. They possibly wrote "Misery" for her to sing, but her management rejected it.
A very sad, cautionary tale. Nationwide stardom and several top 20 hits at age 15; dead of a heroin overdose at age 25.
One of the top 5 greatest singers in history!
I'm sorry he beats MJ for best child singer
Platinum album in both US and UK at age 13.
Member of the short-lived but promising group Mindless Behavior, charted a #6 and #7 album before getting fired for stealing the producer's car.
At age 14, had a #1 single in Canada, "Blue", and at age 15, had a Billboard #2 single, "How Do I Live".
I like her I just don't like her singing that's all!
A Superstar in the making.
I live close to her and shes really mean
She can't sing, she's an another spoiled child who lives in a JoJoPalace
ARI IS THE BEST AND SHE IS BETTER THAN JACKIE(WHO IS JACKIE? )
I love both Johnny and Mackenzie's songs especially Day and Night and Teamwork

Now this is a singer everyone should listen to and respect. His voice is one that can make you feel happy and confident.
Still holds the record for youngest artist in US chart history to have a #1 album, at age 13.
Mostly famous for singing "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas", in 1953, and in 1954 she actually got one, then immediately donated it to the Oklahoma City Zoo.
Connie is lovely!
Who added my princess?
Haven't heard HIM
Her amazing talent was recognized as early as age 3, but due to an abusive mother, did not enter a major music conservatory until age 14.
At age 14, he joined a local band in Liverpool called the Quarrymen, which was headed up by his older buddies, John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
Never heard of him.
The Yodeling Kid!?
