Best Chris Columbus Movies

The Top Ten
1 Mrs. Doubtfire

As much as I love Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Mrs. Doubtfire is my favorite Chris Columbus movie because it looks like just a funny Robin Williams comedy on the surface (not to say that it's not funny; it's just that I don't like the jokes as much as the main story), but it's actually a very powerful, very moving, and very relevant story about the harmful effects divorce can have on a family. Not just the children, but the parents as well. Oh, and Sally Field's acting in the scene where she finds out that the titular British female housekeeper is actually her ex-husband in disguise is some of the best acting I have ever seen in a family film. Just...standing ovation (and RIP Robin Williams).
