Top Ten Christian Metal Bands that Aren't Purely Metal

Just like MetalTreasure stated on his list 'Top 10 Bands that Aren't Metal According to Encyclopaedia Metallum', bands are aren't purely metal are rejected as metal bands and are rather non-metal by Encyclopaedia Metallum. The first item on here is the biggest shock. When you search a band and you get a note like "No matches found. Please try with different search terms.", then the band you're looking fo isn't a metal band.

One more thing, nu metal and metalcore aren't pure metal.

The Top Ten

1 August Burns Red August Burns Red August Burns Red is an American metalcore band from Manheim, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2003, the group began their first performances while a majority of the members were attending their senior year of high school, and soon began playing shows around Lancaster, before being signed to CI Records. Afterwards, more.

I like the list title that LightningBlade said "not pure metal" instead of "not metal". There are many bands who have some metal parts in them. But some consider them as metal and some don't. Even Rush had some metal stuff in their early songs. But Rush isn't pure metal. These bands are between metal and not metal. - zxm

Well...loud and hard aren't always metal,
and these bands aren't metal - Ananya

I see LightningBlade took the time to do some research and I respect that.
Encyclopaedia Metallum don't comment on whether these bands are good or bad. They only say these bands aren't metal. Many bands are heavy and loud but it doesn't mean they are metal. If the bands are more punk-, or rap-influenced, obviously they aren't metal.
No problem if you like these bands. Just keep in mind they aren't metal. - Metal_Treasure
