The Top Ten
1 New York City, United States The City of New York, often called New York City or simply New York, is the most populous city in the United States. New York City is also the most densely populated major city in the United States.

New York should not be the US capital. The District of Columbia was created to keep the capital more centrally located and separate from a major city like NY, Philadelphia, or Boston. NY being the capital would put it at risk for more terrorist attacks, protests, and political disputes that come with being a capital city. With its urban area, Milan has three times the number of inhabitants of Rome's urban area. Besides, Milan is known for being a lot safer than Rome. I could make a very long list of why Milan should be the capital, but these are my main reasons.

No, Rome was once the capital of the world and is one of the most historically significant cities in the world. Also, Italy is not that old of a country, and there are many differences between the north and the south. Rome is in a great central location that connects the two parts of the country.
