I have always loved the classics and the characters in them so these are my personal favorites.

Whenever he outsmarted someone, it was always funny.

2 Tom (Tom and Jerry) Thomas "Tom" Cat is a fictional character and one of the title characters in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's series of Tom and Jerry theatrical cartoon short films.

They attracted much attention in his time

I loved watching them beat each other up.

Should have beaten Bugs for number 1.

3 Mickey Mouse Mickey Mouse is a funny animal cartoon character and the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company. He was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks at the Walt Disney Studios in 1928. The first cartoon featuring Mickey Mouse was the iconic "Steamboat Willie" released in the year 1928.

4 Daffy Duck Daffy Duck is an animated cartoon character produced by Warner Bros. Styled as an anthropomorphic black duck, the character has appeared in cartoon series such as Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, where he usually has been depicted as the best friend and occasional arch-rival of Bugs Bunny.

I always loved watching any cartoon he was in. It always made me laugh.

5 Donald Duck Donald Duck is a cartoon character created in 1934 at Walt Disney Productions. Donald is an anthropomorphic white duck with a yellow-orange bill, legs, and feet. He typically wears a sailor shirt and cap with a bow tie.

He is just hilarious, there are just so many elements that make him such an amazing and unique figure. He was, is, and will always be the best cartoon character of all time.

Whenever he got mad, I laughed so much.

6 Woody Woodpecker Woody Woodpecker is an anthropomorphic animated woodpecker, inspired by the acorn woodpecker and also resembling the pileated woodpecker, who appeared in theatrical short films produced by the Walter Lantz animation studio and distributed by Universal Pictures.

I loved his laugh. It never annoyed me.

They will make a new version

7 Jerry (Tom and Jerry) Gerald "Jerry" Mouse is a fictional character and one of the title characters in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's series of Tom and Jerry theatrical cartoon short films. He is a mouse that gets chased by Tom, but tries to trick Tom so he won't catch him.

Seriously, why the heck is Jerry not in Top 3 or Top 5?

8 Goofy Goofy is a funny-animal cartoon character created in 1932 at Walt Disney Productions. Goofy is a tall, anthropomorphic black dog with a Southern drawl, and typically wears a turtle neck and vest, with pants, shoes, white gloves, and a tall hat originally designed as a rumpled fedora . Goofy is a close friend of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and is one of Disney's most recognizable characters. He is normally characterized as extremely clumsy and dimwitted, yet this interpretation is not always definitive; occasionally Goofy is shown as intuitive, and clever, albeit in his own unique, eccentric way.

I loved the how-to cartoons more than the ones with him and Donald and Mickey

9 Scooby Doo Scooby Doo is a famous fictional dog character from the show Scooby-Doo Where Are You? He is the protagonist of his series .

I also like his family with the exception of Scooby Dum.

10 Betty Boop Betty Boop is an animated cartoon character created by Max Fleischer, with help from animators including Grim Natwick.

11 Felix the Cat Felix the Cat is a funny-animal cartoon character created in the silent film era. The anthropomorphic black cat with his black body, white eyes, and giant grin, coupled with the surrealism of the situations in which his cartoons place him, combine to make Felix one of the most recognized cartoon characters in film history.

12 Top Cat (Top Cat) Top Cat is an cartoon character created in the early 1960s by the staff of Hanna-Barbera Productions. He is a yellow alley cat who is the leader of a gang of Manhattan alley cats living in Hoagy's Alley. The gang constantly attempts to earn a quick buck, usually through illegal scams. Top Cat's nemesis is Officer Dibble, a local cop on the beat who attempts to evict Top Cat and his accomplices from Hoagy's Alley. The character of Top Cat was based on Sgt Bilko from The Phil Silvers Show.

Some of my favorite cartoons I love to watch are the ones he stars in.

17 Tweety Tweety is an animated fictional yellow canary in the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated cartoons. The name "Tweety" is a play on words, as it originally meant "sweetie", along with "tweet" being a typical English chick for the sounds of birds.

I loved to watch these cartoons to. They didn't make me laugh as much as the one's Tom and Jerry were in but it was still entertaining to me.

18 Popeye Popeye the Sailor is a fictional American cartoon character created by Elzie Crisler Segar. The character first appeared in the daily King Features comic strip Thimble Theatre on January 17, 1929, and Popeye became the strip's title in later years.
19 Rocko Rocko is the eponymous fictional character of the cartoon Rocko's Modern Life and the comic book series of the same name. He is an Australian anthropomorphic wallaby who immigrated to the United States. He works at a comic book store, lives next to annoying neighbors, and is friends with the gluttonous Heffer and nauseous Filbert. The episodes revolves around Rocko's adventures and surroundings of the American life in the 1990s.

Sylvester is very great, and number one.

22 Snoopy Snoopy is a character in comic strip Peanuts. He first appears in the strip from October 4 1950. He often sleeps on the top of his dog house. He belongs to Charlie Brown. He was created by Charles M. Schulz. He also appears in all the specials and the 2015 Peanuts Movie.
