Contrary to Deep Purple, despite not having started as Heavy Metal with Ozzy, they would eventually become Heavy Metal with Dio, Gillan and Martin.
This could be one of the reasons why Black Sabbath is considered the father of metal as the true fathers of Metal are Deep Purple.
