Top Ten Best Comic Book Live-Action TV Shows

We check the worst live-action shows, now let's check the best shows.
The Top Ten
1 Gotham Gotham is an American crime drama television series developed by Bruno Heller and based on characters published by DC Comics and appearing in the Batman franchise, primarily those of James Gordon and Bruce Wayne.

Things gotten slow in the beginning of Gotham, but the action and thrilling of the series is great in my opinion. We check out the origins of Selina Kyle, Penguin, Commissioner Jim Gordon and Bruce Wayne who'll one day becomes Batman.

Made characters like The Penguin and Mad Hatter so much more lovable. It gave specific detail on how Bruce and every other character essential in Gotham would develop into who they are.

A lot better than it gets credit for! One of my favoirite shows if not #1! Great acting and cool stories. It's an alternate story, and it's crazy!

My personal favorite. The character development of Penguin is great. I love him as an anti-hero.

2 The Flash (2014) The Flash is an American superhero television series developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Geoff Johns, airing on The CW.

I am in love with The Flash! It's the first time I've actually heard nearly my whole school talk about something other than Pretty Little Liars! I also reckon that Gary Gustin makes a great Barry Allen/Flash and it's cool that John Wesley Shipp (who plays Barry's dad) was Barry Allen in the 1990's series The Flash...I mean, how cool is that, it's almost like a mini Barry Allen reunion :P

I like Gotham but I prefer this more. Watch all of the episodes my favorite is the season finale of season 1.

Just started watching this since seeing the trailer. Nothing else to say, but it's doing good so far.

Perfect show. All the actors do a fantastic job, and the special effects are awesome.

3 Arrow Arrow is an American action crime television series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg.

The show is very mysterious, and sometimes you don't know if you could trust the main character! I just finished Season 2 on Netflix, which I watched in two sick days!

The great origins and story of Green Arrow happens here on CW. Thanks to writing duo Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim, season 1 exceeds everyone's expectations and season 2 continued on with great heights.

Glad this is over the Flash. Flash can NEVER top this!

Should be number 1

4 Smallville Smallville is an American television series developed by writer-producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, based on the DC Comics character Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

The long-running show Smallville series made a big hit of today and fans loves it. This shows how it covers the early years of Clark Kent who would one day become Superman. It lasted 10 seasons and it's the highest rated show in WB history.

5 Daredevil

Violent, Action-Packed, and Dark. My type of thing

One of the greatest shows Netflix has to offer.

Fantastic show that makes us all forget about that godawful 2003 movie. Dark, violent, and well acted/written. I don't normally binge watch, but I binge watched the hell out of Daredevil

Way better than the original

6 The Walking Dead The Walking Dead is an American horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont, based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. Andrew Lincoln plays the show's lead character, sheriff's deputy Rick Grimes, who awakens from a coma discovering a world overrun by zombies, commonly referred to as "walkers" . Grimes reunites with his family and becomes the leader of a group he forms with other survivors. Together they struggle to survive and adapt in a post-apocalyptic world filled with walkers and opposing groups of survivors, who are often more dangerous than the walkers themselves. ...read more.

Totally the best comic book show of all time, the great zombie phenomenon, great action and good drama. With great actors and high ratings of today, this is why it's number 1 on the list.

I don't watch that many live action shows.

7 Batman (1966)

I know it's one of the worst live-action shows from my previous list, but it's also the best. Adam West's Batman was a more jovial and lighthearted adventurer, which pays off pretty well. This Batman show was one of the most popular comic shows way back in the 60's.

The best superhero show ever.

8 Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

While DC Comics been making live-action shows and earning money, Marvel made their own live-action show in 2014, which it's getting better since a little slow start of the beginning of the season.

Love this show so much! So many great plot twists, great characters (Fitz is a perfect cinnamon roll, Skye is also amazing), great everything!

9 Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman
10 Supergirl Supergirl is the name of several fictional superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics.

Live-Action means it looks real! This is an animation this should be out of the list! And Fear THE WALKING DEAD WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 14! Whoever put this here I'm now riot and mad angry because of him/her!

The Contenders
11 Marvel's Agent Carter

Finally a strong female main character for Marvel, and now they're renewed for a second season! Can't wait, this show is so great!

We know Peggy Carter is gonna have her own show and yes, Hayley Atwell is the same Carter from 2011 Captain America movie.

12 Legends of Tomorrow
13 The Incredible Hulk Robert Bruce Banner, also known as The Hulk or Bruce Banner, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and was portrayed by Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Old time favorite as a kid, this show is one the greatest live-action shows ever made and Bill Bixby did his best before his death in 1993.

14 The Flash (1990)
15 Wonder Woman Wonder Woman, known for seasons 2 and 3 as The New Adventures of Wonder Woman, is an American television series based on the DC Comics comic book superhero of the same name.

This is not the 1975 one.

16 Jessica Jones Marvel's Jessica Jones, or simply Jessica Jones, is an American web television series created for Netflix by Melissa Rosenberg, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

This one is really good. And deep.

17 Luke Cage

Sweet Christmas

18 Black Lightning

This show rules, here's hoping season 2 is just as great.

19 Lucifer Morningstar

This a good show
