Best Comic Book Story Series
Story Arcs, not vague like "Amazing Spiderman" but special series. The follow up to Infinite crisis was even better. 52 is one of my favorite series ever. 52 is all about the year (52 weeks) that took place after Infinite crisis. You start to feel sorry for Lex luthor, you begin to like Black Adam, and SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
Booster Gold dies.
One of the best
What an amazing story. This is my favorite comic book/book ever. Great plot, great characters, awesome tales and so forth. Azrael as Batman, Bane breaking the Bat, and Robin not seeming as wimpy, all topped off by an epic battle between Azrael and Batman.
An epic tale that spawned an epic Zack Snyder film. Filled with social statements, this gripping tale helped make comics a legitimate form of media, and no longer kid friendly.
Thoughtful, intrigueing with an excellent mystery, memorable characters.Watchmen is so loved the very thought of the prequels is controversial.
Absolute disgrace that Watchmen, the greatest comic ever made, is down here.
How is this not number one? How is infinite crisis above watchmen!
DC's ultimate 7 issue extravaganza. The ultimate battle for the DC Universe was one of the best stories ever told.
The comic that inspired Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Earth's greatest heroes team up against alien forces? Sounds pretty cool right? The ultimate Marvel crossover indeed. What makes it even better, it introduces something you may have heard of, it's called the symbiote.
There was a lot of backlash for bringing SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
Jason Todd back to life. I see no problem with it. They pulled it off perfectly and ultimately making this one sad story.
Does it get any better? The greatest heroes of all time squaring off or teaming up?
Can't get better than this. By the way they should make another Dc vs marvel
Yes. I especially liked the Amalgam stories!
I originally gave this spot to Avengers vs X-Men, but Kingdom Come was one of the most gripping tales I've ever read. It takes place in the future (Revealed to be Earth-22) and is about DC's heroes fighting one another, which leads to the destruction of Kansas (as if there was anything to destroy) and an elderly JLA reunite with some other great heroes (Creeper, Red Robin, Blue Beetle) and fight a deranged Captain Marvel. It ends with the deaths of almost every DC hero except for a handful (saved by Green Lantern's shield).
It's sad, but it's good. Not to mention the outstanding artwork by Alex Ross.
Everything about Kingdom Come is fantastic.
A splendid story about Batman returning to a world that no longer seems to want him, and defending his position of the Dark knight against old foes and friends alike.
I love this story! Should be higher...
Am having this particular comic, and awesome job seems to resonate about how the camera and photography are so mysterious and paint a picture which might be thought of and in diverse ways. Sometimes watching it again might also see the photograph a different way. Depends on the user maybe though there is none such problems. It is a cool reading that is for certain.
The best Joker story out there. It has incredible art, it perfectly showcases the Batman/Joker dynamic, and has an ambiguous ending.
The art in the killing joke to me is terrible.
Best comic ever! Put this on number 1!
Arguably the best marvel comic story ever written. This was a landmark event in the series, showing how superheroes would stand politically, and how far they would go to preserve these ideals. The government decided to establish a superhero registration act to stop villains from appearing by forcing superheroes sot be trained by shield and reveal their identities. Captain America stands against this, saying it violates the rights of these people, while Iron Man enforces it, saying that it will prevent erratic use of superpowers and create more open and trustworthy superheroes. This clash of political ideals eventually explodes into a full out civil war, with tons of superheroes fighting each other, and endangering many civilians in the process. It really is a fantastic read, albeit with a bit of a bias towards Captain America. Still, civil war is one of the most monumental events in the marvel universe, and is a thrilling read.
The gods of horror. This was the first non superhero comic I read. I ended up reading the whole series in a comic book store. It was scary even for a comic. It was a great crossover comic with Ash doing what he does best, kicking butt.
Okay admit it. Marvel comics from 30-50 years ago were so much better than DC. But now, Marvel is in the "Wood Age" as I like to call it. Left and right, bad comics. Marvel Zombies though was a fun and entertaining series. It keeps my faith in Marvel as do the movies. This though was a fascinating series about Marvel's protectors becoming infected Zombies. Well done Marvel, well done.
This is one of the most defining stories for one of the greatest superheroes of all time, the flash, and dc in general. It actually spawned the new 52. The story is action packed, suspenseful, and emotionally gripping. It also makes professor zoom a really good villain
People don't know that the best comic book makers come from Belgium! Come on guys, learn about stuff that comes from places other than the Anglo-Saxon world! You'll discover a lot of cool stuff! And no, I'm not from Europe.
This should be the top
I read this and it was really good! My friend Veronica recommended it to me, and I especially loved the style and humor, and as a high schooler this is 100% accurate. One of the best I've ever read, and I love comics.
This is the best
This should be above Teen Titans go! For reals!
I had to add this!
