Top Ten Concerts and Live Performances

The Contenders: Page 11

201 Coldplay (Glastonbury 2011)

Oh come on this should be #1 or at least in the top 10. Best performance I've ever attended

202 The Eagles - Hell Freezes Over (1994) - Warner Burbank Studios, Burbank, California

One of the best live concerts ever!...The best band reunion ever!...Clearly deserves a spot in the top 10...Started it with Hotel California (Acoustic version with damn impeccable guitar solos), the best introduction ever in a live concert!...Superb tracks, technique & above all, versatility!...Fully 10/10!...Take a bow, Eagles!...You people rock!...m/

203 Metallica (Stockholm 1986)
204 Mr. Big (Back to Budokan 2009)
205 Pink Floyd (Live 8 2005)
206 System of a Down (Astoria 2005)

Brilliant Show, Aerials and BYOB sounded even better than the recordings. Absolutely amazing, and of course System of a Down's typical energy and crowd pleasing craziness

207 Muse (Glastonbury 2010)
208 Foo Fighters (Reading Festival 2012)
209 Green Day (Leeds Festival 2013) V 1 Comment
210 GG Allin & The Murder Junkies (New York, 1991)
211 Genesis (Wembley Stadium, London, England 1987)

An amazing performance by an epic band. Say what you want about Genesis but Phil Collins vocal range is amazing and this is the band at their live best. Unstoppable.

212 Santana (Palast der Republik, East Berlin 1987)

Are you guys really serious, not including the band who played World Music before it was even invented?

This concert features Carlos Santana at his last hippie incarnation, and a band including a 4 percussionists, Alphonso Johnson on bass, Chester Thompson on keyboards and Buddy Miles singing and playing guitar!
This is a music powerhouse!

213 Goo Goo Dolls (Live In Buffalo, 2004) Goo Goo Dolls (Live In Buffalo, 2004) The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York, by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik, vocalist and bassist Robby Takac, and drummer George Tutuska.

Played through the rain. Great opening at City Hall.
