Most Controversial Ink Master EliminationsThey were eliminated surprisingly for reasons which caused a lot of shock and debate.
For a group of people who are always saying they are constantly being pre-judged and discriminated against eliminated the most well rounded artist on the show. How can all those judges just openly discriminate against a guy who should have been in the finals. They should be ashamed, especially that idiot D-bag guest judge Forrest, dude obviously can't take a joke. (Jamie, Tommy, and Shane are the only artist from that season I would let tattoo me)
The Challenge was dimension and the artist were to tattoo a design featuring an animal. Jamie's tattoo lacked dimension and Sarah's tattoo had a huge black spot making her tattoo look like a cover-up. They were both in the bottom two for these reasons. The reason why Jamie had the most controversial elimination was because guest judge Forrest Cavacco judged him not because of the tattoo he did, but the fact that Jamie had no tattoos of any sort.
Rated him and I would get tattooed by him. I don't care if you don't have tattoos, you look at the quality of the artist and sarah's tattoo was hideous.
Judges were a joke, Jamie got cut just due to him not having tattoos. I guess since I was a helicopter mechanic I'm suppose to own one.
People love Tommy because of Tattoo Nightmares, without that this loss wouldn't be any more controversial than any other Ink Master finale. While there's no denying that Tommy's finale pieces were incredible, calling him the best overall competitor is a stretch. Shane won 3 out of 7 tattoos of the day, Tommy won 1. Shane was considered to be in the top for 5 out of 7, Tommy only 2 out of 7. Shane was never in the bottom, and Tommy was once. You may personally be a fan of Tommy's work (and I consider myself to be, he's an excellent artist), but that doesn't mean Shane was any less deserving of his win. As far as being "well rounded," the only question with Shane seemed to be whether he would be able to execute as well in color, and he showed he was.
The competition was supposed to be a judge of versatility, adaptability, and overall artistic competence. Tommy did well on virtually every challenge thrown at him (excepting the pin-up challenge. ) However, he showed the judges his ability to overcome that obstacle by rocking a beautiful pin-up face in the finale. The judges seemed bias and in favor of Shane from the start, and while he is a black and gray master, Tommy has proved himself to be the best overall, most well-rounded competitor of Season One.
Tommy took second place next to Shane O'Neil. Tommy was praised greatly by the judges for both the Asian tattoo and the tattoo of a Greek Woman. The judges themselves said the tattoos were perfect. However Shane was given the win to doing a color tattoo. Something that was out of Shane's comfort zone.
Tommy is precise, great black/grey work, shading and color'. Love his work on Tatoo Nightmares with Jasmine and Gus! Love the cover ups he does, those clients must be so amazed! Keep tatting Tommy you are an Ink Master!
James was eliminated on texture day, but not because of a tattoo he did. He was eliminated because his canvas had a fight with him, and James instead of trying to win over his client he said "Maybe I am not artist for you" and let her walk off.
I only voted for Craig on this to show how perhaps the best artist on the entire show was steam rolled. I have even thought it was due to him being overly mild mannered. I would have Craig tattoo me any day of the week.
It is a shame the judges failed to see how great he obviously is...
Craig Foster was one of the best artist of any season... as good as Scott Marshall, Joey Hamilton, Steve Tefft or Shane O'Neill for them not to bring him back is crazy the show should be about the best artist but it's about the best ratings/drama created by a particular artist who is good enough at the same time I think Sausage should have won this season he had the better final Tattoo Matti Hixson was good but Halo should have been in the finals some how as well "everybody was thinking it" I am fine with the Judges being hard on the artists but saying it's about the work one minute and how you play the game the next is just too much in Craig Foster's case they took his talent away from the people watching - can you imagine how good he is now they need to bring him back for Season 5 Hashtag Avenge Craig Foster Ink Master Season 5
He should have been one of the final 3, not be eliminated. Tatu Baby admitted she should go home at this elimination, yet they kept her. Extremely stupid, they sent home one of the best artist of that season to keep drama baby.
I'm really glad he got another chance in season 6. He's definitely doing a lot better than he did in season 3, and I'm definitely rooting for him.
Tatu Baby was in both season 2 & 3, but her controversial elimination was in Ink Master 2. She was up against Sebastian for the final 3 spot and despite having some of the least amount of experience in the game, she shown her talents in multiple tattoos. But it was shocking when out of nowhere Sebastian was selected for the final 3 spot. Even Sarah Miller her rival in the game and Steve Tefft the future winner of the game both said Tatu Baby should be in finals.
Can't believe how long her mediocrity was allowed to continue.
Feels like someone wanted Tatu Baby to win so badly they eliminated more competent contestants in the hopes that her next tat would be better, or maybe the next one... Or the next one...
Tatu baby didn't even finish all of her tattoos & got to stay? How did that happen? Maybe she did some behind the scenes extras cause she should have been gone after her first time on Ink Master. Her tattoos were terrible!
Sebastian had no artistic skill. Tatu baby shined in many areas and consistently showed that she had an artistic eye.
Kyle was eliminated on all skills day. He was up against Tatu Baby for the final seat. Kyle proved to the judges he could do what they asked for, where as Tatu Baby did not. However Kyle was eliminated because of the tattoo he was able to create himself, because it was unreadable. However Tatu Baby was having a bad season, so Kyle not making finals caused a lot of uproar. Kyle will be in the upcoming Season 4 of Ink Master do to the voters
Lost respect for the judges. Tatu baby should have been out long ago. She didn't even finish the 1st tat and she got to stay... It wasn't talent with a tat gun that kept her there.
Kyle is mean to Nunez. I mean, why would you do that to a judge on your show. I love Ink Master!
Jackie was eliminated on consistency day. The artist had to tattoo DC comic book super villains. Jackie was given Two Face and made major alterations on the tattoo like for instance; flipping Two Face around making him burn on the wrong side of the body, having many line work issues. Where as Jime did not even attempt a comic book character and instead did a New School version of Poison Ivy. In the end Jackie was eliminated from the game.
Bili was one of the better ones. Sure it was further in, but his tattoo was not the worst of the day, and there's a reason everyone was happy he was gone, he was good.
Bili needed to go anyway. He really wasn't that great.
Bili was eliminated on color day. Bili was eliminated against Lêa for him putting the time of his birth on the tattoo. Not to mention having a design that didn't look like the traditional tattoo the wanted. Where as Lêa's tattoo had the same issues.
All I can say is motor boat... Laugh out loud
Tatu Baby should have lost, but Nunez wanted to sleep with her.
This guy is a douche bag motor mouth.
He should have stayed!
Sarah was the runner-up on Ink Master 2. Sarah herself had a lot of debate on her hands. After being in the bottom from Dimension day, she was said to have skated into finals where as other say she got the place she deserved.
Kay was eliminated on contrast day. Kay's Star Wars tattoo had poor contrast and when he was eliminated against Mark. The viewers were split saying either he should have stayed or he should have been eliminated sooner.
Kay kutta should have been eliminated on episode 1
