Metallica lost a lot of die hard fans with this move... initially, I was one of them, but then I realized that even though I didn't think Load and Reload were all that great, it didn't diminish the quality of their earlier albums. They rebecame my favorite band after I could not longer pretend there was music I preferred over their early stuff.
