2 Dave Mustaine David Scott "Dave" Mustaine (born September 13, 1961) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, actor and author. Mustaine is best known as a pioneer in Thrash Metal, being the former lead guitarist of Metallica before his dismissal in 1983, leading to finding and becoming the front man of his own band Megadeth shortly after.

I think Mustaine is the coolest. He is opinionated and can be an ass. He is very confident and himself and makes a lot of media with his comments. He has a big ego and if you like that stuff like I do then he is the coolest. PLus he is by far the best guitar player of any metal singer. So he has a lot of coolness going for him

I don't know ... he's a great musician but I wouldn't call him 'cool' because he's very authoritarian. His dictatorship in Megadeth and his big Ego caused lots of conflicts and unwanted bandmembers changes.

12 Kai Hansen Kai Michael Hansen is a heavy metal guitarist and vocalist. Hansen is the founder, lead guitarist, and vocalist of power metal band Gamma Ray. He is also the co-founder and former member of German metal band Helloween.

Very cool guy - there's something very special in his personality which makes me smile but also respect him.
He has been the backbone of the German metal since the 80s now. He is the guy who has been invited by all leading German bands as a guest musician (looks like they needed his blessing).

He still sings live with his ex-colleagues from Helloween, esp. Michael Kiske;
he sang with Blind Guardian (studio and live) and Edguy;
he had side projects with members of Primal Fear (where his ex-singer Ralf Scheepers currently sings), with Thomas Stauch from Blind Guardian, etc.

He was an initiator of many metal 'family reunions' and so on.
He's the German Metal Godfather.

Kai Hansen is just all around cool! He is talented and has an awesome personality

A really cool guy.
He is one of the greatest metal singers but he left Iced Earth in 2003 because the September 11 terrorist attacks made him realize something. He wanted to contribute to the "real world" instead of living the illusion of a "rock star."

And Barlow became a police officer in the police department in Georgetown, Delaware.
WOW!

He's got a real 4 octave range, able to morph the sound of his voice to any style, from John Lennon and Freddie Mercury, and clean to Joe Cocker-raspy.

A big guy with big voice and big heart.
Try: Savatage - Hall Of The Mountain King.

17 Louis Benjamin Falgoust II

Vocalist of Goatwhore. I was at a Goatwhore show a few weeks ago, and after the set, he stood on the stage for a few minutes shaking everyone's hands, and then he went down into the pit and started taking pictures. I was fortunate enough to get a picture with him and converse for a little bit. He is an extremely nice guy.
