China is already catching up fast. It has played so economically and strategically. If the US doesn't make a move, China might overtake our spot as the most powerful.

Economists predict that by 2050 India will overtake China and the United States of America and became a major world power. If India's economic progress continues till 2050, there are no chances that it will not become a world power. Due to its high population and industrial growth it is an economic powerhouse. This list is wrong in so many ways. First of all,higher population does not better economic or better army. Second of all, you're assuming that everything will go the same as today until 2050. Like who can tell what might happen until that time?! Maybe,one or all of these countries lose their power or influence and other countries gain power or maybe people of the U.S rebel for some reason. There are many possibilities.Who can tell which one is true?! Neither I nor You nor anyone else can predict the future.

A "high population" does not make for an "economic powerhouse." Unless India's economic growth keeps pace with its rapidly growing population (which seems unlikely), it's likely you won't see much change for the better.
