It depends on where you are in Saudi Arabia. Some cities get a lot of rain, and some cities even have snow because of how cold it is. Sand storms aren't "too many" either. You get a number you expect from living in a desert. As a person living in Saudi Arabia, I can tell you that it is not THAT extreme at all. It's pretty mild.
