The Contenders: Page 4

61 Got the Time - Anthrax
62 Say Something - Cheyenne Jackson and Jackie Evancho

Their marvelous duet from Jackie's PBS special "Awakening - In Concert".

63 Dazed and Confused - Led Zeppelin
64 Sorry - Kristian Kostov
65 One Way or Another - One Direction

This cover is not better than the original! One Direction sucks dick!

This should be on the list of 'i needed a therapy after listening to this'

66 Land of Confusion - Disturbed

Way better than the Genesis version

67 Friend of the Devil - Counting Crows
68 White Room - Demons & Wizards

A Cream cover - better than the original. Just give a listen. - Metal_Treasure

Sounds very similar to the original to me. It's personal preference but I can't see how you claim it's definitively better. To me, for a cover version to be regarded as "better" than an original that is considered great it needs to have a significantly different take or add outstanding unique elements that enhance the song - and it's still a difficult attempt - Billyv

69 Got to Get You Into My Life - Earth, Wind & Fire
70 Surfin' Bird - The Ramones
71 The Loco-Motion - Grand Funk Railroad
72 Titanium - Kristian Kostov
73 Anyway that You Want Me - Spiritualized
74 Forever Young - Youth Group
75 Grenade - Ariana Grande
76 Please Mr. Postman - The Beatles

It's good, but not as great as the others

77 Word Up! - Korn
78 The Rains of Castamere - Jackie Evancho

From "Game of Thrones", this has been covered by several other artists, but Jackie Evancho completely made it her own, and this version was formally released as a single by SONY Masterworks.

79 Surfin' USA - Blind Guardian
80 Venus - Bananarama
