In 2009 Children of Bodom released a whole compilation album with cover songs - Skeletons in the Closet.
These songs were recorded and released from 1998 to 2009 on previous albums, often as bonus tracks. The songs were remixed and new details can be heard.
The album contains only 4 unreleased covers - "Hell Is for Children", "Antisocial", "War Inside My Head", and "Waiting".

This album has 2 versions, with 17 and 18 songs, respectively.
What you should know in advance is that most of the time the band was just having some fun.
