81 My Mind is Ramblin' - The Black Keys (Junior Kimbrough)
82 House of the Rising Sun - Five Finger Death Punch (Clarence Ashley)
83 You're No Good - Linda Ronstadt (Betty Everett)
84 Feeling Good - Muse (Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse)

Muse has made this song into an epic - original use of a loud speaker - hidden away at the end of Origin of Symmetry this has become a firm fan favourite and a must=play at live gigs - this has to be higher than number 32

Why is this so low down? Honestly please just go listen to it now it's perfect and Matt's voice is just beautiful

Moving cover version by a legendary rock band

I love muse

85 War Pigs - Faith No More (Black Sabbath)

I still prefer the original but this is brilliant. - LedSabbath

No doubt best version of War Pigs - UFasten8Me

86 American Woman - Lenny Kravitz (Guess Who)
87 I Heard It Through The Grapevine - Marvin Gaye (Gladys Knight)

This cover is so great that we almost forgot the original song.

This has got to be the greatest original and cover song of time. Both #1 hits.

88 How I Could Just Kill a Man - Rage Against the Machine (Cypress Hill)
89 Perfect Strangers - Jorn (Deep Purple)
90 Hey Jude - Wilson Pickett (The Beatles)
91 Thor - Therion (Manowar)
92 TNT - Six Feet Under (AC/DC)
93 No Quarter - Tool (Led Zeppelin)

A genius pays homage. Tool's haunting and thunderous rifts pound this song deep into your psyche. Brilliantly interpreted! Tool fans, check out Staind's cover of "Sober. " its not amazing, but its rare and worth a listen.

The margin between these two songs is by far the most narrow.. The only song on this list or any where rock gods and geniuses covered other rock gods and geniuses

94 Another Brick in the Wall - Korn (Pink Floyd)

Jonathan Davis' vocals work great for this song. And a great guitar solo by Munky. Much better than the original, and that's saying a lot - Shake_n_Bake13

Bull, pink floyd is way better than korn, another brick in the wall was a masterpiece

This song sounds better then the original, great job Korn -

I was looking for this song on here

95 America - Yes (Simon & Garfunkel)

Shows what brilliant musicians Yes were and are.

96 Cocaine - Eric Clapton (J.J. Cale)

Although Clapton's version is more popular, I like the funky groove that J.J. Cale imparts to the song.

97 Beyond the Realms of Death - Blind Guardian (Judas Priest)

One of those covers that would impress everybody - this iconic Judas Priest song is VERY difficult and emotional, and it needs a great singer, who is also able to feel the emotion of the original.
This singer sang his head off and his chorus is incredible " maybe he even succeeded to add some more passion and emotional power. - Metal_Treasure

98 Black Magic Woman - Santana (Fleetwood Mac)

Carlos Santana's version of this Peter Green classic stays true to the original while adding a new flair to it through Santana's Latin influence. The Gypsy Queen solo adds a lot more power and "oomph" to the song, enough for me to consider it an incredible cover song. - c0mf0rta61ynum6

99 Tuesday's Gone - Metallica (Lynyrd Skynyrd)
100 Devil Went Down to Georgia - Steve Ouimette (Charlie Daniels Band)

What better than having a rock cover of a country song with amazing guitar solos and catchy verses and riffs? Also, very fun to play on guitar. Charlie Daniels and Steve Ouimette, I salute you both!
