Most Creative Musicians

Creativity is one of the key elements for a successful musician! While many musicians are great, because they're talented, technical or just overly skilled, these creative ones are responsible for some of the most unique sounds in music!

Also I will count guitarists, singers, drummers, bassists, keyboardists and more for this list!
The Top Ten
1 Miley Cyrus Miley Ray Hemsworth (born Destiny Hope Cyrus), known as Miley Cyrus, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born on November 23, 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee, to Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. Her voice type is Mezzo-Soprano and has 4 octaves. She became a teen idol starring as the character Miley Stewart in the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana in 2006. After that Miley had numerous worldwide hits, such as ''Party in the USA'', '' We Can’t Stop'', and ''Wrecking Ball''. On December 23, 2018 she got married to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, but they divorced shortly after.

She was creative back during Hannah Montana, but now she's a loser.

She deserves the top spot.

2 Nicki Minaj Onika Tanya Maraj, known professionally as Nicki Minaj (born December 8, 1982) is a Trinidadian/American rapper / pop music artist. Minaj is most known for her songs such as "Anaconda", "Super Bass", "Starships" and her feature on "Bang Bang". Despite her controversial songs, Brent Staples from "The New York Times" claimed her to be 'the most influential female rapper of all time', presumably distinctive for her fast flow and her use of alter egos with Cockney accent. She has endorsed Adidas, MAC Cosmetics and Pepsi. Minaj has received ten Grammy-nominations throughout her career, and has won multiple awards including the Billboard's Women in Music 2011 Rising Star award.

I love this woman. I vote for her because she is one of my favorite artists and that is my honest opinion. I also like Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Kate Bush and a few more. I don't think I am the one who added her to this list but if I were it would be because I honestly think she is creative, not because I am a troll.

3 Freddie Mercury Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara, 5th September 1946 - 24th November 1991) was a Zanzibari-born British singer of Indian descent, songwriter and record producer, known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the British rock band Queen. He also became known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. Before he became a singer he has been in 3 other bands (Ibex, Sour Milk Sea, and The Hectics). He died on November 24, 1991 from bronchopneumonia as a result from HIV/AIDS

He was multitalented, he wasn't just great in singing, but he was a great songwriter, a great piano-player and a talented in drawing, watch his drawings and paintings on internet!

How is he below that stupid hoe, Nicki Minaj? Freddie mixed rock and opera together! Who else can do that? Have you heard The March Of The Black Queen, Innuendo, or Stone Cold Crazy?

He wrote the song Stone Cold Crazy considered by many the first thrash metal song, recorded in 1974 - 9 years before Metallica. Metallica did a cover.

Userguy44, the comment was "... he wasn't JUST great in singing" meaning he was great in singing and he was also great in all the other attributes that were posted.

4 Roger Waters George Roger Waters is an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. He is mostly known for being the secondary lead vocalist and bassist of Pink Floyd.

Roger Waters is a genius. He is the mastermind behind many of Pink Floyds greatest albums, including The Wall, Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals, and Wish You Were Here (etc). Even his solo stuff like Amused to Death is amazing. He is the king of the concept album, and to this day, wrote some of the best, deepest lyrics ever.

5 David Bowie David Robert Jones, known professionally as David Bowie (January 8, 1947 - January 10, 2016) was an English singer born in London, the son of a fundraiser and a waitress. He is credited for his experimental and creative musical discography which has won praise and accolades for many critics and fans. The man who the world knew as David Bowie was an actor, a painter, a philosopher, and many other things. But first and foremost, and what he was known for most, he was a rock star, covering every genre from psychedelic folk to industrial. His influence on fashion, music, and pop culture in general remains as his legacy--along, of course, with his unforgettable music.

Bowie was more creative than Freddie Mercury. He wrote many types of different music genres. ¨Life on Mars" is the most creative song and his music reached out to many people including young kids.

Came here to add this myself. Bro fist.

So pumped to hear his new album.

Too bad he died though.

His songwriting skills are one of a kind. He's definitely very creative with his work. Although I believe Roger Waters is the most creative in songwriting and the bass.

19 Buckethead Brian Patrick Carroll, known professionally as Buckethead, is an American guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who has worked within many genres of music.

As well as being one of the best guitarists you'll most likely hear today, he manages to create imagery unlike anything I've personally seen before. He works in multiple genres, excelling in every one he plays. His first album, Bucketheadland, sets you on a trip through his own imaginary theme park. It's weird and may not make sense most the time, but it's still really interesting. Day of the Robot is an album that shows he can be heavy, and I mean heavy. Colma is the opposite. It's an album that shows he can play with feel. He's released quite a few albums, and around 400+ short albums (akin to EPs) he calls pikes. Using his many influences and ideas to drive this madhouse of an experience that is his music, I believe Buckethead is one of the most creative artists, because he simply thinks up some of the most different, strange, and insane songs, and even some very down-to-earth, soft, and beautiful songs, and they mostly manage to be great, if not, amazing. But that's just my ...more
