Top 10 Most Creative Nickelodeon Shows

The Top Ten
1 Drake & Josh Drake & Josh is an American television sitcom created by Dan Schneider for Nickelodeon. The series follows the lives of two teenage boys with opposite personalities, Drake Parker (Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (Josh Peck), who become stepbrothers. Both actors previously appeared in The Amanda Show along with Nancy Sullivan, who plays Drake and Megan's mother in the series. I have a question: Not that I hate Drake & Josh, but does the OP of this list even know what "creative" means? Creative technically means to be unique. Creativity is different from quality, although it does correlate with the latter.

Drake & Josh is not creative... sure it's funny but it's no different than your average sitcom with laugh tracks. Avatar is a lot more worthy of first place.

I have loved Drake and Josh since I was little but some shows now are garbage like Bella and the Bulldogs. Bella and the Bulldogs is non realistic.

This show is great. It has so many great quotes. I always used to say Drake and Josh quotes when I was in marching band.

2 Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American animated television series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in an Asiatic-like world in which some people are able to manipulate the classical elements by use of psychokinetic variants of Chinese martial arts, known as "bending". This show is often seen as one of the greatest cartoons of all time and is commonly thought to be an anime.

Aside from Drake and Josh, this whole list was a joke before we added popular animated shows to it. I mean, how could you forget something as breathtakingly unique, innovative, and most importantly, creative as Avatar: The Last Airbender with its awesome premise of fighting by bending elements, anime-influenced art style, amazing characters, all with a cohesive and well-written plot that makes this show not only a Nickelodeon gem, but also a diamond in the rough in the animation industry?

I could leave a paragraph explaining how creative this show is, but I'll let it speak for itself.

Best T.V. show ever!

This made a whole world that’s amazing and does not deserve such a crappy movie adaptation.

3 Victorious Victorious is an American sitcom created by Dan Schneider that originally aired on Nickelodeon from March 27, 2010 through February 2, 2013 . The series revolves around aspiring singer Tori Vega, a teenager who attends a performing arts high school called Hollywood Arts High School, after taking her older sister Trina's place in a showcase while getting into screwball situations on a daily and more and more adventures. Tori Vega is played by actress Victoria Justice.
4 Hey Arnold! Hey Arnold! is an American animated television series created by Craig Bartlett that aired on Nickelodeon from October 7, 1996 to June 8, 2004. The show centers on a fourth grader named Arnold, who lives with his grandparents in an inner-city boarding house.

This show is different from most cartoons. Most of the characters are highly developed and it proves that a can be a cartoon can be realistic. I love this show. Make it number 2 on the list.

How is This Below Bella and The Bulldogs?

5 SpongeBob SquarePants SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series created by marine biologist and animator the late Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. SpongeBob is currently the most popular show on Nickelodeon, as well as the longest running show, running for 23 years, and is beginning its 13th season. This is the best show around, it NEEDS to be number 1

This is amazing.

6 Danny Phantom Danny Phantom is an American animated series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It was produced by Billionfold Studios and distributed in Canada by Nelvana, a Canadian animation company. The series follows a teenage boy who, after an accident with an unpredictable portal between the human world and the "Ghost Zone", becomes a human-ghost hybrid and takes on the task of saving his town (and the world) from subsequent ghost attacks using an evolving variety of supernatural powers. He is aided in his quest by his two best friends, and later, his older sister, who for most of the series' run are among the only people who know of his double life.

Name one ghost superhero cartoon that was created prior to Danny Phantom. And no Ghostbusters either. Anyone? Any answers? No? Just as I expected.

Ghostbusters

I liked the movie Good Burger that was based off of this show.

The Contenders

The series centers on the surreal life of an anthropomorphic Australian-immigrant wallaby named Rocko as well as his friends: the gluttonous steer Heffer, the neurotic turtle Filburt, and Rocko's faithful dog Spunky.

Despite it being an extremely cliched sitcom at its core,

I can think of a LOT of reasons why this should easily be #1 here

12 Rugrats Rugrats is an American animated television series created by Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó and Paul Germain for Nickelodeon.

Who would've thought that a show about babies could be so amazing?

Top three needed.

Bella and the Bulldogs more like Bella and the Hot dogs amiright

He also said that season 5 will most likely be the last season.

PFFT! WHAT?! All these generic live-action sitcoms are considered creative? Um, what about creative animated series from Nickelodeon like SpongeBob SquarePants or Avatar: The Last Airbender?

Username says "SpongeBob Sucks" says SpongeBob SquarePants is a creative show. Really?

15 Rocket Power Rocket Power is an American animated television series. The series debuted on Nickelodeon on August 16, 1999. The series ended on July 30, 2004 after four seasons.

MrEnter Said This Was Trying Way Too Hard to Be Hip. It Wasn't Trying to Be Hip.

Originally set to premier on January 2016, the series instead premiered on May 2, 2016, with the episodes Left in the Dark and Get the Message.

I've heard of big families before, but not something like this! Chris Savino's childhood living with a big family sure did create an innovative show involving a variety of unique sisters with a single boy as the main protagonist.

23 Invader Zim Invader Zim is an American animated television series created by Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon. The series centers on an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk, and his mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race along with his malfunctioning robot servant GIR.
