Best Creedence Clearwater Revival Songs
Great song - lots of power and soul. Just a cracking great song. Lodi is another favourite as is long as I can see the light. Someday never comes is another classic that deserves a mention
Once in a concert, I saw someone who was sitting quiet and sober all along; stood up all excited as soon as he heard someone singing a cover of this song.
I'm kinda' surprised that this song made it to number one on here. It's got so much heart, soul, and blues to it. What a great band.
This song is very well made and the members did the best job in creating this song
This isn't just a song, which is extremely good though, but it embodies a cultural phenomenom. This song embodies cultural and demographical change during the sixties and seventies and the anti-Vietnamwar protests more than anything else.
CCR has many songs that would be in my top 50 best songs ever, but this one has to take at least number five out of every song I have heard. It stirs a certain prideful and energetic feeling that makes me want to sing along.
This song is one of many songs that broadcasted by Vientamese propagandist to make American G. I homesick during the Vietnam War. Cause its good..
After listening to this song, why do I feel the urge to load my M16 and mow down any village idiot Charlie that I come across?
I would say the reason that I'm such a big fan of CCR is that I watched 'The Big Lebowski'. The funny part is that I'm already a huge Slipknot fan.
My late brothers favorite song
Don't go around tonight
Its bound to take your life
There's a bathroom on the right
Love the Big Lebowski reference. "Not the f****** Eagles". My Dad still sings this one "bathroom on the right".
Kind of Surprised, but yeah amazing song, thought that it would be a little higher, but Have You Ever Seen the Rain has so much soul that you really can't argue that it is killer.
I remember hearing this as a little kid, I was about six. Haven't heard it until today! I never remembered the name or anything... Good to hear it again!
I'd put it 2, behind Have you ever... rain. Such evocative images.
Should be #1 without a doubt. Classic.
This is one song which, when I hear it, my smile is instant. It only happens with this band. I'm not joking; I can't help but smile when I hear a CCR song. They're amazing.
"Have You Ever Seen the Rain" deserves to be #1, but this is my favourite. It always makes me think of summer.
How is this not # 1?!?! Seriously? It's amazing, shockingly motivational for my 15 year old self
Listening to this now, groovy, upbeat and a great sound. Mood lifter!
This is the best driving song! Some sweet guitar! Gotta love it! Awesome stuff!
My favorite for sure brings back so many memories
Best beginning riff ever. Yeah!
I really love them all. It's hard to come here with one song in mind that you want to vote for; then you look down the list and those songs start playing in your head when you see the titles. I particularly like the vocals to this one though.
I really do think this song is CCR's masterpiece. It's not just Fogerty's, the drumming and the bass in this song are outstanding. Fogerty is great on every song, but I think the whole band really shines on this one. Also love Who'll Stop the Rain.
This should be number ONE! Fogerty's voice is supernatural and this song is proof.
By far the best. I would offer a detailed explanation but this is the Internet...
Such a catchy and anti-depressing song. It should AT LEAST be in the top 10, but I guess 11 is good to, as long as its up there.
Every time I hear this song I think of the car scene in the Big Lebowski and it automatically makes me smile.
Impossible to not sing along to
Love this song
Man this song comes on the rock station I listen to, it made me realize how great of a band Creedence was. For such a short lived band they had so many great songs. This would have to be favourite, love John Fogerty's vocals on this one and the guitar is amazing.
So hard to choose my favourite song by this band because they were great and are one of my favourite bands. I'd have to choose this one, the vocals, the music and the catchyness(haha that's not a word) are too much to resist, I think this should be right behind Have You Ever Seen The Rain? Which I can respect as the top spot song.
Only a little better than "have you ever seen the rain." The guitar melody is just so great on this one that it edges the vote for me. Should be at least in top 5, but at least their 2nd best is at #1
The only song less than 6 minutes that I would consider an "epic." The fact that it is sub-3(! ) and still garners the title is simply astounding.
I just selected a random CCR song when I didn't knew the band very good. This was the random song I selected and I loved it. It's been one of my favorites ever since.
My favourite band, and my favourite song of theirs.
The best CCR song!
Underrated song. Not CCR's very best, but it has a cool rhythm and should be in top 10 or maybe higher.
Jesus this should be top 5 no matter top 10...
The First CCR song which whom I felt in love
I understand that this song doesn't deserve to be number one, but it definitely deserves to be in the top ten.
What a great song...
Listened to this a lot recently. One of my three favourites by CCR.
Should be in top 5
Are you kidding! This song should at least be in the top 3, if not the number one CCR song. Sad to see such a great song at number 9.
I'm offended that this isn't even in the top 10. Amazing song. Every song by them is amazing. Amazing band.
Susie Q is a great song, but you look at the top ten and they're all great songs, too. I guess you just can't go wrong with CCR.
This and Born on the Bayou are great jam songs. Might be rated higher if Fogerty had written it, but you’ve gotta love their arrangement of it. Really the song that introduced me to CCR
This is a true work of art. Amazing guitar solos and Fogerty does a great job of singing at the beginning. A true classic! This should be up way higher.
With all due respect to Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight, etc., this is my favorite version of this song.
The best song for the breakups! I've made a promise that my son or daughter will listen to them. CCR's the best!
Deserves to be top 5, best cover of all time
Listen too this one, it's visceral. In every relation that last more then some weeks, there is always some kind of enchantment.
This is not only the best ccr dong of all time it is the best rock and roll song of all time. So different, awesome guitar and menacing vocals
The best of John Fogerty- his voice is legend in this song.
The guitar solo is one of the best I ever heard
It was a big gap on this list; just get a look on YouTube you'll c a video of it with more then 5M views. Now look something like "The Working Man" there's no video with more then a tenth of that one.
Beautiful rhythmic song. A classic.
I absolutely love this by Creedence. Was hard to choose between this and the gem that is Born On The Bayou. Two very different sounds. It all depends what type of mood I'm in at the time. Later today I might come back and vote the other. Who can tell?
An unknown song that, if written by the Eagles, would have become a timeless classic.
Great song, and I love Fogerty's arrangement. These guys were Americana personified.
This song was actually written in the 1850s...
The solo will get you rambling up high and high
Real fans love this one the best.
Best guitar solo I've ever heard
This song is alright better than run through the jungle I like have you ever seen the rain★★★
Ramble tamble ☆★★ peagan baby ★★★
Brilliant song to swig back on some whiskey and make memories with friends and family
Love CCR! Although it's not the most know song, this is my favorite from them :)!
This is just such a lovely relaxing song. Sometimes, with all the commotion through the day, you just want peace at the end of it; and this is the song to play.
This song has such raw emotion and the sax solo gives me goosebumps every time. At least for me, this is number 1.
Great lyrics, vocals and awesome playing should be in top 3
Number 18? What seriously? This song deserves to be #1!
Listen to this song while driving on the Route66
You can feel the emotion!
A song which is always underestimated. It's a melancholic one - something rare for this band. And pretty good done.
Masterpiece! The voice travels along the humans soul... The "meaning" of life in a song...
Just love every CVR song, but this is truly beautiful and leaves a melancholy note. I love father-son songs.
Greatest Credence song. Not known well but is somehow really comforting
Absolutely amazing, the best ccr song in my opinion
Potentially the most underrated of all Creedence songs, the guitar solo is some of Fogerty's best work and the chorus is awesome. For any other band this would be much higher, but CCR is so damn good!
This should be top 12 cus it is KILLER! Get a spine chilling feeling every time this is cranked up... Creedence is the best Good Times band but we're also DEEP as hell too...
I just love the guitar solo to this song.
