The Top Ten

Hypno Hypno, known in Japan as Sleeper, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

"It carries a pendulum-like device. There once was an incident in which it took away a child it hypnotized."

Seriously, why isn't this on the list? If you've listened to the lullaby then there's plenty of reasons why this Pokemon is creepy.

Watch the 'Hypnos lullaby' and you'll see

So like you die and turn into this Pokemon? USED TO BE HUMAN? So that means when I die I become this thing. The hell?

Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human, sometimes they look at it and cry

Well this is creepy and sad

Banette Banette, known in Japan as Juppeta, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

The fact that a discarded doll came to life is already nightmare material. The other creepy facts are just icing on the cake.

I think banette's name comes from the word "ban" so here is something I think about this "doll", banned from this world

Its a dead puppet that wants to find, curse, and kill its disowner. Talk about vengence! I mean, a Zangoose wants to kill its lifelong enemy, but your owner? COME ON, PKMN!

Just plain creepy

Drowzee Drowzee, known in Japan as Sleepe, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

It eats childrens dreams becuase its tasty

Cubone Cubone, known in Japan as Karakara, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

The first time I heard this pokedex entry... I was upset, nearly in tears.

From Pokemon Ruby:
It pines for the mother it will never see again. Seeing a likeness to it's mother in the full moon, it cries. The stains on the skull it wears are from the tears it sheds. - toonsommermartin

It wears the skull of it's dead mother. "When it thinks of it's mother, it cries. It's crying makes the skull it wears rattle hollowly. "

They wear the skull of their dead mother. WAIT, if its mother is dead, how is there more than one? EVOLOUTION!

I...personally Have a lot of respect for cubone but when I heard the pokedex entry from firered/leafgreen stating something along the lines of that it wears the skull of its dead mother and when it thinks of its mother it cries.that some messed up Pokemon entry right there - Red26473

Gengar Gengar, known in Japan by the same name, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

He is the shadow of clefairy/clefable

Just Creepy

"Should you feel yourself attacked by a sudden chill, it is evidence of an approaching Gengar. There is no escaping it. Give up."

Wh-What? "There is no escaping it"? "Give up"? And Pokémon is supposed to be a kids game! Jeez! - Absolite

Hansel and Gretel - SwampertBABY

I love this Pokemon but the Pokemon entrie... I couldn't sleep

Sounds like FNAF this thing, it's possessed by kids' souls.

Pokedex Entries
These Pokémon are created when spirits possess rotten tree stumps. They prefer to live in abandoned forests.
According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest.

While shining a light and pretending to be a guide, it leeches off the life force of any who follows it

Since when did candles try to take peoples souls?

You're dead before you now it. And with their cuteness, they'll trick you EASY! They will lead the way... TO YOUR DEAD!

And don't forget Lampent and Chandelure. It's perfect teamwork: Litwick drains your life energy, then Lampent/Chandelure burns your SOUL. Probably eternally. Eternal suffering and pain… :(

They should be NUMBER 1!

That's scary they probably live in the Bermuda triangle.

They're so cute!

The fate of the ships and crew that wander into jellicents habitat:all sunked, all lost, all vanished

The Contenders

Yet another ghost type Pokemon strikes again, it justs takes the spirit, but leaves the deceased corpse of its victim lying their on the floor, what does it do to the spirits it absorbs anyways? Does it use it as energy, does it put it in some giant collection, or maybe its just so sadistic and brutal that it thinks taking spirits from humans are amusing in some way...

Being consumed in chandelures flame bruns up the spirit, leaving the body behind

Chandelure is pretty much a more powerful version of lampent and litwick. I guess it is not as creepy but more plain terrifying. it lures you and hypnotizes you with spirit fire and then incinerates your soul, using it as fuel. it doesn't have to wait for you to be weak or weary or go through the drag of leading you to the ghost world. nope! It just steals your soul and goes on to murder and destroy the essences of anyone else it feels like. it being a supposedly inanimate object and having glowing pupil-less golden eyes doesn't help.

“Oh god, help me,” she gasped, before a lampent had absorbed her soul.

It arrives near the moment of death and steals spirit from the body

It waits at hospitals for people to pass - MaxAurelius

Fire Red Entry:
"It happened one morning - a boy with extrasensory powers awoke in bed transformed into Kadabra."

They use hypnosis to control people and Pokemon. tales of gothorita leading people astray are told in every corner

So what? Gothitelle can see your exact time of death.

Feraligatr Feraligatr, known in Japan as Ordile, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

I love this Pokemon is so powerful and feral

Why did you even put this on here?! Banette should be here or at #1 instead!

Ew hear this: darumakas droppings are hot, so people used to put them on their clothes to keep themselves warm.

It could had been a ailen species look it saids this Pokemon had never been seen until appeared from far in the desert 50 years ago.

Haunter Haunter, known in Japan as Ghost, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Why is this not higher on this list

By licking, it saps the victim's life. It causes shaking that won't stop until the victim's demise.

Cacturne's Saphire Entry

So, what exactly is cacturne trying to do that's why its creepy, it lets you come up with your own ending, but still forces it to be somewhat disturbing, I think the least disturbing thing you can think off is that its trying to steal something, but there are plently of other scary endings resulting in an assassination, slave making, and all that stuff, I am disturbed...

Mimikyu Mimikyu is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It is a Ghost and Fairy type whose ability, disguise, allows it to take one hit without taking damage

-A lonely pokemon. It conceals its terrifying appearance beneath an old rag so it can get closer to people an other pokemon.
-After going to all the effort to disguise itself, its neck was broken. Whatever is inside is probably unharmed, but it's still feeling sad.
-Its actual appearance is unknown. A scholar who saw what was under its rag was overwhelmed by terror and died from the shock. - TheSilverEncarnation

So why are you not in the top 10 entries, again? - TheSilverEncarnation

Dusknoir Dusknoir, known in Japan as Yonoir, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

How could this not be on the list! A ghost Pokemon that kidnaps wandering children at nicht

It takes people to the spirit world and there is no escape!

Don’t mind me, just wrapping my hilt around my trainer’s arm because I was hungry and watching Sylveon videos.

I saw Honedge at night in front of me flying, I would just run the heck home.

Apparently this Pokémon is born when a departed spirit inhabits a sword. It attaches itself to people and drinks their life force. This is... Creepy...

And its form pre-evolution looks like a peashooter.

"If its prey is bigger than its mouth, it slices up the victim with sharp leaves, then eats every morsel."

Ok, that's a bit too much information ya?
