Top Ten Creepiest Video Game Music

The Top Ten
1 Giygas Theme - Earthbound
2 River Twygz Bed - Super Paper Mario

To this day, my friends still do not believe me for saying this is from Mario, or from Nintendo for that matter. They guessed it was from a creepypasta or an extreme horror film. It's THAT disturbing.

This is creepier than the Giygas Battle theme. It's creepy as can be.
This should be on the list "Top 10 Songs you might hear in hell."

This gave me nightmares when I was 12 and it first came out! So creepy!

3 Item Room Ambience - Super Metroid
4 Terror - The White Chamber
5 Betrayal - Silent Hill 2
6 Shadow Temple - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
7 Ikana Valley - Zelda: Majora's Mask
8 Battle Against A Weird Opponent - Earthbound
9 Bad Morning To You - Earthbound
10 So Cold - Undertale
The Contenders
11 Big Bruty - Earthworm Jim: Special Edition
12 Lavender Town - Pokémon

Gives me the chills

13 Southern Shelf Ambience - Borderlands 2
14 Fyrestone - Borderlands 2

In what way is Fyrestone creepy? I find it relaxing.

15 Bionis' Interior (Pulse) - Xenoblade Chronicles
16 Northern Hemisphere - Donkey Kong Country
17 US Game Over - Sonic CD
18 Golden Diva - Wario Land 4
19 N's Room - Pokemon Black and White 2

Music boxes can be creepy. Broken music boxes, such as how it seems to be portrayed here, are even creepier. The melody is heavily distorted, which causes it to sound sad, yet it lays down an eerie vibe, considering the broken state of N's room in the game.

20 Bloodmyst Isle Ambience - World of Warcraft
21 Flashback - Deltarune
22 Sayonara - Doki Doki Literature Club!

This music is pretty much the reason why the jumpscare associated with it works so well, and it puts you in a uncomfortable mood and sad mood. Even the name of the song is kind of scary when you know the context

23 Playing Forever - Omori
24 Battle Against The Masked Man - Mother 3
25 Land Of The Livid Dead (Nowhere To Run) - Rayman Origins
