Andrew Jackson had to have been the President with the lowest regard for human life. Something like this should never have happened, and it saddens me.
Killed more civilians than anything in human history except for the Bubonic Plague.
Relatively recent, and took place about 1966-1976. More than 60,000,000 civilians killed.
Attila the Hun sacked most of Europe at one time or another, alternately ranging east and west, plundering and killing everything in his path. Ironically he choked to death during a feast at his own wedding.
In some areas of his empire that stretched from the city of Kiev to the Sea of Japan, he killed more than 3/4 of the population, with an estimated 15 million total dead, a higher percentage of the world's population than any conquerer before or since.
