It was Summer Vacation, and my family and I were traveling to California to see family, and the beautiful Yosemite. We would stay at my Grandpa's for the first few days, then start our first road trip together. (In case you're confused, I've lived on Maui all my life, and there it's too small for a roadtrip) When staying with Grandpa, we were at the park in the afternoon. Some obnoxious kids suddenly yelled "Look! A baby bird! " I looked behind me, and mom and I saw these two kids picking up this tiny thing and putting it in the tree, throwing it, trying to make it fly, and other terrible stuff. I was about to give the idiots a piece of my mind, but then their dad called them and the (insert whatever nasty word you want here)s left. My mother and I, knew very well how to take care of baby birds. We'd rescued, and raised, a baby mynah, who is now living with us, and trained to talk (they are excellent talkers).
