Top Ten Cutest Insects and Arachnids

I know, this is a weird idea for a list (because the words "cute" and "insects" or "arachnids" don't really go well for most people), but believe it or not, some insects and arachnids can be as cute as puppies and kittens
The Top Ten
1 Butterfly Butterflies are part of the class of insects in the order Lepidoptera, along with the moths. Adult butterflies have large, often brightly coloured wings, and conspicuous, fluttering flight.

I genuinely love all insects but butterflies are my favourite. Such beautiful, graceful and elegant insects. I could watch them flitting about for hours.

2 Ladybug

You mean the ladybird beetle? Yeah, they're associated with cuteness.

Why? Just because they have spots doesn't make them cute right away.

All my life I've had a soft spot for them.

Ladybugs are beautiful.

3 Moth
4 Bumblebee A bumblebee, also written bumble bee, is a member of the bee genus Bombus, in the family Apidae. The brood parasitic or cuckoo bumblebees have sometimes been classified as a subgenus or genus, Psithyrus, but are now usually treated as members of Bombus.

So fluffy and important -- good and pure souls who deserve more love than they get!

5 Happy Face Spider

The smile looks like Jeff the Killer grew some new eyes, but sure.

This looks adorable c:

6 Damselfly
7 Cross-Eyed Planthopper
8 Jumping Spider A member of the Salticidae family, the Jumping Spider is known for its exceptional vision and leaping ability. These spiders are active predators and hunt during the day. Their varied diet includes insects and other spiders.

While most spiders are pretty creepy these aren't. I don't see how anyone can call them scary. Cute little spider!

9 Dwarf Flightless Scelionid Wasp
10 Treehopper
The Contenders
11 Dragonfly
12 Silkworm Moth
13 Red Milkweed Beetle
14 Tiger Moth
15 Dung Beetle A type of beetle that feeds primarily on feces, the Dung Beetle plays a crucial role in nutrient recycling. Found worldwide, these beetles can roll dung into balls and bury it as a food source for their larvae.
16 Peacock Spider

These are so adorable and colourful! There are so many species, and each looks unique! They dance to attract mates! And they're so TINY!
