It is about stuff like football and things like that not stuff like base jumping.
The Top Ten
1 Horseback Riding Horseback riding (or Equestrian) is one of the most intense sports known to man. Not only because it's physically challenging, but it takes more than athleticism. Horseback riding takes commitment, time, patience, and most importantly building a bond with your horse. If you don't have a good relationship ...read more.

This sport is very risky, as is any sport, but don't let it discourage you from letting your child do it. One of the best things my mother ever did for me was not letting me grow out of my horse phase! I told her I liked horses and she switched jobs so she could pay for my shows and lessons. She found the barn where I work everyday and gain experience training horses from the ground and the barn where I go twice a week to train horses from the saddle. honestly, I have had the greatest experiences of my life at these two barns, and I'm so grateful that my parents let me do it. If your child wants to ride horses, please don't stop them! It may turn out to be the thing they never knew they needed

Dude. This is dangerous. I know multiple people who have been paralyzed and others who can never get on a horse again. I won't go into all this again, but I feel like this is the most dangerous sport. The injuries suffered our horrific. Landing people in the hospital for months, paralyzing, killing. You're working with a skittish animal ten times your size, yet I've seen kids as young as three riding. I'm not saying that's irresponsible, but kids have to be careful with the horses they choose to ride. Ones that are slower and gentle. But even the oldest, slowest, carefulest horse doesn't garuntee your safety.

I personally think that this should be higher than football. Not to dis football or anything, I know that it's hard and have witnessed the injuries firsthand, but it just isn't as dangerous( in my research-and-fact-based opinion). My trainer's friend broke her neck after being ran into the fence. I have seen people suffer concussions and broken bones after falling yet still getting back on to finish their pattern at a show.

I was put on a horse, and she took off with me and rammed my leg into a fence. I got away easy. I could've gone to the ER with a fractured knee, but I got back on and couldn't walk properly for the next week.

2 Motocross

It's one of the most physical sports and demanding. I broke my arm and leg from it and I see 6 years old flying by people going as fast as there bike can go

I'm glad this is a sport

3 Gymnastics Gymnastics is a sport involving the performance of exercises requiring strength, flexibility, balance and control.

It's probably not the most dangerous, but it's pretty dangerous. I mean gymnast flip on a four inch wide beam, four feet above the ground...

Shut the F.. K up it is very deadly sport more than lacrosse. You can do a kolman on a high bar first then decide if it more dangerous.

Say that a girl does a back handspring and splits the beam she's going to be hurt so bad

I was made to quit

I loved it though

4 American Football

I am a guard (a offensive lineman). One time I tried to block 2 people at once and broke my arm

It is so dangerous you can full body tackle someone and break their neck.

They should not have football until junior high/middle school

One of my dearest friends got hurt from this sport

5 Water Polo

I think that this should be higher on the list. Like, number 2. Trying to score points and communicate with your team while also trying not to drown? Yeah, definitely dangerous. I don't even play water polo, but quite honestly I'm too scared to try it!

I'm 14 and have been playing for quite some time. Almost everyday I hop out of the pool with a bloody nose, scratches all over, and have constant tendonitis.

6 Ice Hockey Ice hockey is a contact team sport played on ice, usually in a rink, in which two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a vulcanized rubber puck into their opponent's net to score points.

Your getting slammed against boards constantly and the body checks are going at up to 50 MPH don't make people mad or they'll beat you up. I have a friend who plays hockey and he has crutches all the time.

I think ice hockey because your constantly being thrown around onto boards so yeh...

Hockey is way harder then girly cheerleader it's just a fact

7 Lacrosse Lacrosse is a contact team sport played between two teams using a small rubber ball and a long-handled stick called a crosse or lacrosse stick.

I play lacrosse and I get pummeled all the time. yesterday I body checked a kid so hard that I broke 3 of his ribs gave him a concussion and knocked him unconscious and guess what I'm only 10 years old

I just had a lacrosse game and I hurt 2 people in less then ten minutes and I didn't mean to but if I was trying they would be screwed and I'm only 12.

Bro I'm 10 also and already got suspended for a half for hitting and kid too hard?!

I play football too, but getting hacked at is no fun

8 Rugby

Rugby is basically football but without pads and with football being #1 it's not true. I've been playing football for 8 years now the most major injuries I've had is a small concussion and a broken pinky I was over both in 2 weeks

My uncle got a kick to the head and he died on the rugby field

Rugby League is the most dangerous football sport of all.

Rugby is football and it's a very dangerous game.

9 Soccer Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a sport played between two teams of eleven players each. It is played with a spherical ball. The objective is to score the ball in the other teams goal.

It is dangerous because usually most of the fouls are kick in the face and lots of bleeding. Even though it is fun to play be careful.

I've been playing for a while and I've broke a ankle and much more.

Soccer is 90 minutes of pretending you are hurt

10 Boxing Boxing is a martial art and combat sport in which two people wearing protective gloves throw punches at each other for a predetermined set of time in a boxing ring..

1 day my brother was like u want to box? I saw what he had(paper boxing gloves) and I totally freaked out

I'm only 7 and I can only do boxing with a Safety mask

The Contenders
11 Cheerleading Cheerleading is a sport and performance activity that combines elements of dance, gymnastics, and acrobatics. Originating in the United States, it has evolved significantly over the years, moving beyond the traditional role of leading cheers for sports teams to become a highly competitive activity in its own right. Cheerleading squads perform choreographed routines that include stunts, jumps, and tumbling, often at athletic events or competitions. The sport has gained international popularity, with various championships and organizations promoting skill development and competition.

If it's so dangerous, the answer is simple - don't do it!

People have died from chearleading. Imagine falling from up to almost 20 ft in the air

12 Bull Riding Bull riding is a rodeo sport that involves a rider getting on a bucking bull and attempting to stay mounted while the animal tries to buck off the rider.American bull riding has been called "the most dangerous eight seconds in sports." To receive a score, the rider must stay atop the bull for eight seconds with the use of one hand gripped on a bull rope tied behind the bull's forelegs.

My Dad got killed and now I only have a mom. He was bleeding like crazy.

I'd never put a child on a bucking bull.

13 Field Hockey Field Hockey is a team sport played on a grass or turf field, involving two teams of 11 players each. The objective is to use a curved stick to hit a small, hard ball into the opponent's goal. Originating in the British Isles, the sport has gained global popularity and is especially well-known in regions like Europe, Asia, and Australia. Field hockey is played both recreationally and professionally, and it is an Olympic sport with a strong emphasis on speed, skill, and teamwork.

As a goalkeeper, I can say that not a single field hockey player would step into the goals without a full suit of armour. And guess what. Players have no armour except for shin-pads and a mouth guard. I have seen players splinter elbows, dislocated bones, toes pointed the wrong way. As a full back, I almost had my brains spattered across the turf by a stray ball. In goalkeeper armour, I have almost had bones broken through three centimetres (an inch) of solid/super dense foam plating. Regular players have no armor for the most vulnerable parts of their bodies to protect them ftom a 3-5 kilo, solid ball, travelling at just below tennis serve speeds.

This is a very dangerous sport it like lacrosse but has more pads making it less dangerous.

14 Football Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a sport played between two teams of eleven players each. It is played with a spherical ball. The objective is to score the ball in the other teams goal.
15 Roller Derby

23 Cricket Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a cricket field, at the centre of which is a rectangular 22-yard-long pitch with a wicket, a set of three wooden stumps sited at each end.
24 Softball

In softball you can seriously hurt yourself if you don't know what you're doing and even if you're experienced, accidents happen that can cause injuries. I've been playing softball for 10 years, 7 years as a catcher, and I have back problems as well as shoulder problems just from overuse. At tournaments, you can easily spend 10-12 hours at the field in a day. I got hit by a pitch once and it broke my hand leaving me out for 2 months at least. Softball is not easy and should not be looked down upon.

25 Ice Skating

J.M. Barrie based Peter Pan on his older brother David, who died on a ice skating accident the day before his 14th birthday. J.M. Barrie was 6 year old at the time. His mother and brother thought of him as forever as a boy. The boy who wouldn't grow up.
