There are many shipwrecks around the world. Some very famous like Titanic and others not so. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) estimates that worldwide over 3 million shipwrecks, some thousands of years old, lie on sea beds. This is a list of deadliest shipwrecks disasters, which took place outside warfare. None of the sinking of these ships were intentional nor planned by any government or organization. Some of these are even worse than Titanic, but were given less attention at the time of wreck as well as today.
