1 Assassination of John F. Kennedy

The 35th President, John F. Kennedy (aka JFK) was known for his establishments of Peace Corps and hopes of sending a man to the moon, which happened with Neil Armstrong in 1969. Unfortunately, his presidency came short.

The famous event we all know that occurred on November 22, 1963. The footage was recorded by Abraham Zapruder, known as Zapruder film. He kept recording after Kennedy got shot, when his wife Jacqueline escaped the truck. The footage was never seen in public until 1975 when ABC aired it.

You can see footage here (WARNING: DISTURBING; ALSO AGE-RESTRICTED FOR NON-Google USERS): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mwy6Q9_cUwc

2 Suicide of Christine Chubbuck

Christine Chubbuck had severe drug use and depression. On July 5, 1974, she reported about a restaurant shooting that occurred the previous day. Then said "In keeping with the WXLT practice of presenting the most immediate and complete reports of local blood and guts news, TV 40 presents what is believed to be a television first. In living color, an exclusive coverage of an attempted suicide." She points the revolver on her head and shoots herself, shocking and scaring the viewers who witnessed it. ABC's station WXLT-TV quickly ran a PSA then a movie. The footage was never seen again, but it was confirmed that Robert Nelson owns footage of it.

A cassette audio recording then surfaced on the internet recently (WARNING: DISTURBING): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJmO3TcA-Ug

3 Murder of Bernd Brandes

Armin Meiwes posted an advertisement to The Cannibal Cafe, for people willing to be eaten by him. Bernd Brandes then answered and met on March 9, 2001. Meiwes recorded the 4-hour tape of Brandes being tortured and cut off. The tape was found on December 2002 when a college student alerted authorities, and Meiwes was arrested. On 2004, he was convicted of manslaughter and was sentenced to eight years in prison. The next year, his sentence was changed to life in prison since he was found convicted of murder. The tape was never seen into the public.

4 Suicide of Daniel V. Jones

Jones suffered from HIV and cancer. He planned to commit suicide in the end of April 1998 since he would die soon. It received the attention of televised helicopters, the ones that interrupted "CARTOONS AND KIDS SHOWS" for this. He burned his own truck and sent his dog there to die. Then he pulled the trigger and shot himself, with so much blood leaking out since the cameras were still rolling. It shocked many viewers, especially children.
The video can be watched on the internet but WARNING: VERY DISTURBING THAN JFK SINCE FOOTAGE IS CLEAR. Also, there is a picture of him very shortly after he killed himself. This photo could show up when searching this guy without SafeSearch.

5 Suicide of R. Budd Dwyer

Damn, I feel really bad for this man. On January 22, 1987, he was going to be sentenced to 55 years in prison even though he was innocent. His suicide is not like most suicides that are depressing. He killed himself because it would feel like it's the end of his life. In front of many people who were at his press conference, be shot himself in public. Television stations aired the tape uncensored and caused controversy.

You can still see it on the internet, but is very very disturbing since it's a closeup of a person shooting himself for real.

6 Murder of the The Notorious B.I.G.

The Notorious B.I.G. (aka Biggie Smalls) was known for his hip-hop artistry, becoming one of the greatest rappers of all time.
After Biggie Smalls went to a party to promote his upcoming album, Life After Death, he went for a ride with D-Roc, Lil' Cease and G-Money. However, at around 1:45 in heavy traffic, Biggie was shot, which was recorded by a fan who is trying to capture him as a home movie. The shooting of him was turned away, unable to record on, or was cut. People were going like "BIGGIE WAS SHOT!".
