Debut Albums Considered the Weakest/Worst of Their Band
The unpopular Pablo Honey, despite being far from being a bad album, people always put as the worst Radiohead album by a reason, not only it aged poorly compared to their later work, it's also the only Radiohead album when they tried more to be on a musical trend (Grunge) instead of creating their own identity
Pablo Honey and King of Limbs be like: "I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo, What the hell am I doing here?, I don't belong here."
Not really a bad album, but compared to Three Cheers of Black Parade, is not as well constructed or interesting as the other albums, despite being arguably the heaviest/most agressive MCR album
Now Bleach is far from being a bad album, arguably is the best album on the list, however we need to remember that is the album that came before Nevermind and In Utero, even if is not a bad album, it's still the weakest out of Nirvana's studio albums
RHCP's debut album has some similar feel to Pablo Honey, compared to the rest of their stuff it hasn't aged too well and is not a replayable as the rest of their other albums
Kinda similar case to Pablo Honey, not really as inventive or interesting as their later albums, and aged way worse than the rest of their stuff
Similar case to Pablo Honey and AWKIF, compared to the rest of Depeche Mode's catalog, is neither as strong as their later albums, specially the stuff between Black Celebration to Ultra
This one is kind of an special one because it really feels like it isn't a good album, and coming from the same band who made Foxtrot, SEBTP, TLLDOB and Invisible Touch, feels really weird to have this one compared to their stuff, but the prog and the pop stuff
Avenged sevenfold is in my top 5 bands of all time, but this album sucks so bad. I'm glad they changed genre, because they weren't good at all as a metalcore band
Kinda self-explanatory, but to be honest I really don't have much kind to say about this album. Most of the songs just sound like bad metalcore. Thankfully the band improved with 'Waking the Fallen', and got even better with 'City of Evil'.
Now most of the albums from this list are here just because they are weak compared to the rest of their band's output, but this one is so far the only album from the list that is really bad, in almost every single aspect
This case is really interesting because is not really their weakest or less interesting album, but kind of their most inaccessible, Sonic Youth's albums might not be really catchy or accessible, but this one is definitely hard to get, compared to their later output
Similar feel between Pablo Honey and Bullets, is not a bad album, but compared to the rest of stuff that Dinosaur Jr. has made through their lifetime, this one is not as strong
Ascendancy and Shogun are superior albums. Though to be fair this album was them trying to find out their sound. Which they didn't quite find until Ascendancy.
I don't know but I've heard this always considered their worst album.
OK. I had just heard some people say that this was their worst album.
Great album, but compared to their future 3 albums, is neither as good
