Shane was the type of person you would need to get things done. Loyal, stoic. What he did for his people, others will never come close. Someone with determination and will power will survive. Unless you get shot by your best friend who you put your life on the line for several times and his child.
In a world filled with distrust, looting, killing, savagery. You need people to protect you. A leader. Shane was both a Leader, and a savage for his own people. RIP Shane Walsh.
I wish he survived, like got super injured, left to die, everybody thinks he's dead, but then comes back few seasons later and pretty much messes up everything Rick has build and kills few of the main/side characters along, then final stand-off but yet again he survives, who knows when would he got back...
Shane was right about most things he said, but his lust for Lori (and arguably Carl to be his son instead) drove him mad and got him killed.
He should have became a villain and team up with Negan and kill Glenn

I find it funny that this list is for the show and yet Lee still lives on (you know what I mean). Lee is definitely the best character out of the ENTIRE Walking Dead franchise. He holds the record for the saddest video game death certainly. I have never met my father, but if I was to have a dad, I'd want him to be a guy like Lee
