Top 10 Most Depressing Anime DeathsHave you ever seen an anime death which is not just sad but depressing? Some are just sad while others are totally depressing.
The Top Ten
She died in so much pain it was so sad. It made my eyes drop with tears. She had been cursed and Yukito finally broke it. She was reincarnated into the girl walking on the beach. She was so cute so WHY DID SHE DIE!? T-T
Hughes is dead... No... He was one of my favourite characters :'(
What!? Hughes dies!? NOOO!
There this one death scene that was so depressing. A girl went on a train and then stood on a balcony and JUMPED OFF
Apparentally, Michiru was meant to be Minagi's younger sister and she wasn't meant to exist as Minagi's mother lost the baby. It was really sad.
Ai's death was UNEXPECTED. Those horrible neighbours of Takuma killed her for no reason because one of them didn't want to go to hell. It was exactly like when her villagers buried her alive. She turned the boat round for Takuma just because he was having the same experience.
This anime is so sad it brought me to tears, it was really sad on how she died. And the letter for God's sake. The feels in this anime.
This is the saddest manga I have ever read. It is really worth watching.
This ending was so stupid. it tried WAY too hard. I wasn't saddened by this, I was mad. I felt like I wasted my time.
Why did she die!? And I guess Arima Kousei ends up with Tsubaki then.
Kanna was flying in the sky when priests chanted stuff to control her and army was shooting arrows at her until she died and burst into particles of light. She wanted to see her mother one last time and she did. It was really sad.
Our precious L... Died knowing he was next one to be killed :(
Oh my god. the saddest thing I have ever seen in anime ever. Only scene I have EVER cried during
Makoto was originally a baby orphan fox who wanted to be with Yuichi. She became human and got 'married' to Yuichi and on their happy day, she disappeared, right out of Yuichi's arms... :(
Wait a second...
Since when Ryuga has a last name?
Ryuga didn't care if he died to save the world. He gave his power to Kenta, to stop nemsis. His death was so, so sad.
Suguru went off to through the digital world to find a way to reason with Yggdrasil so that digimon and humans could co-exist.
*SPOILER* He was soon sentenced to be executed and begged for forgiveness. BanchoLeomon knocked him out and told him that he would live on inside him and watch over Masaru and they both died... :(
Shun's mum was getting sicker and soon as she fell into a coma, she was so sick that after Dan and Shun's battle, Shun went to see her and by that time, she took her last breath and said goodbye to Shun... :'(
Kurata needs a slap. Killing Merukimon was just unforgivable. Merukimon was like a father to Ikuto and raised him for so many years soon after Frigimon was destroyed. It was so depressing.
Even though he is Sayuri's younger brother, when Sayuri said he died, I was devastated. She only got to play with her brother for the first and last time... :( Oh my god.
Probably the scene that made my cry the most in any anime ;-;
Koro-Sensei was the almost perfect definition of a teacher. He was incredibly motivating, happy, and smart, and used his special abilities to help the class learn. He turned black with anger whenever one of his students were in danger, but soon turned back into his ridiculous self. I would write more but I'm drawing a blank right now. Koro-Sensei's death should be at least number nine.
She died in night of given birth
Why pokkle had so much to live for and was so young too. And he died thinking he betrayed his own kind because he got his brain probed 😭😭😭😭
His death made me cry first time watching any anime
Kobayashi did not die! Get your facts right!
He sacrificed himself for his town
She died because she knew her sacrafice would be the only thing she could have done for her friends
Goku was really awesome, and when he sacrificed himself to "stop" Cell, I was bawling. The way Gohan and the others reacted was saddening, and when he stood in front of his son, and said, "I'm proud of you. Good-bye, son," I just started really bawling. He nearly avoided death once, when he was Namek (I cried at that too), so I was like, "he must be joking again. He's Goku, he can't die. It's not possible." He was one of my favorites in DBZ, and that death must've been a huge impact to a lot of people.
It was terrible, all she wanted was to live a normal life, but she couldn't because of a disease.
And seeing her body fall apart was just shocking.
He was one of the best anime characters in naruto
