Best Designed Gen 6 Pokemon

Well, since somebody decided to make one for gen 5 already, I guess I'll just move straight on to gen 6. I'm personally not the biggest fan of gen 6, but it still has a lot of really cool looking pokemon.
The Top Ten
1 Yveltal Yveltal is a fictional creature in the Pokemon Franchise. Introduced in the 6th gen, Yveltal is a legendary Dark/Flying type Pokemon, and is the mascot of Pokemon Y. It is classified as the Destruction Pokemon. Yveltal has the ability to absorb life energy, and when its life comes to an end, it steals all the life energy of every living thing around it before transforming into a cocoon to sleep for... read more

It looks awesome, a giant red death bird.

2 Sylveon Sylveon, known in Japan as Nymphia, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

It's my least fave Eeveelution, it just looks so creepy and unappealing compared to say Leafeon or Umbreon or Vapereon etc.

One of the 2 added fairy types I like how it looks.

My favorite Gen 6 Pokemon

3 Greninja Greninja is a Water/Dark type Pokemon introduced in Gen 6. It is the evolved form of Frogadier and the final evolved form of the water starter Froakie. Aside from the usual Torrent ability all Water starters have (Which raises the power of its Water moves), it also has the ability Protean, which changes it's typing to the latest move it used. In Sun/Moon, Greninja also has the ability Battle Bond, which transforms him into his stronger form Ash-Greninja after defeating a Pokemon. Greninja's signature move is Water Shuriken. Not only does it hit up to 5 times, it also allows Greninja to attack first.

I honestly thought for the longest time that this was water and fighting. It looks like a ninja, and even has it in its name, so I assumed.

Really cool looking, the blue color and the fact that he uses his tounge as a scarf is pretty unique, really overhated

This pokemon's awesome.

4 Chesnaught Chesnaught, known in Japan as Brigarron, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

After seeing the designs of the starters for this generation, it felt clear that this would be the one I chose.

5 Xerneas Xerneas is a fictional creature in the Pokemon Franchise. Introduced in Gen 6, it is a legendary Fairy type Pokemon, and the mascot of Pokemon X. Classified as the Life Pokemon, Xerneas has the ability to give eternal life, which occurs when the horns on its head shine in seven lights. When its life comes to an end, it releases all of its life energy to every living thing nearby before transforming into a tree to sleep for 1,000 years. Its signature move, Geomancy, takes a turn to charge, but raises its Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed. A popular moveset is a Geomancy set with Power Herb as the holding item.

Majestic pokemon that represents the power that fairies are also known for, rather than the cutesy designs that most of the other fairy types have.

Cool pokemon

6 Trevenant Trevenant is a dual-type Ghost/Grass Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon franchise's sixth generation. It evolves from Phantump and is characterized by its eerie appearance and connection to the forest. Trevenant is often associated with haunted trees and ghostly tales. Its unique dual typing and role in the ecosystem make it a captivating choice for battles.

As said previously, so many of the ghost types are cool, and I'm surprised it took them 6 generations to make a possessed tree, as it seems like a cool idea.

This is among the cooler Pokemon designs. It's a possessed tree-monster.

7 Meowstic
8 Pangoro Pangoro is a dual-type Fighting/Dark Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon franchise's sixth generation. It evolves from Pancham and is known for its tough appearance and combat skills. Pangoro's design and demeanor reflect its warrior-like nature, and it often stands up against injustice. Its unique dual typing makes it a versatile addition to battles.

Since pandas are my favourite animals, I felt like I had to include this one on the list.

Pandas are the best

9 Malamar Malamar, known in Japan as Calamanero, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

While it's design is a total gimmick, I still find it clever how different it looks while still clearly appearing to be nothing more than Inkay flipped upside down.

10 Phantump

Easily the most adorable pokemon of the generation, possibly of all time.

The Contenders
11 Zygarde Zygarde, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
12 Frogadier
13 Volcanion Volcanion, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
14 Gogoat Gogoat is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI of the Pokémon series. It is categorized as the Mount Pokémon. It evolves from Skiddo.
15 Fennekin Fennekin, known in Japan as Fokko, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

The other choice for most adorable of the generation, only beaten by phantump in my opinion.

16 Noivern Noivern, known in Japan as Onvern, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
17 Pyroar Pyroar is a Pokémon species introduced in the Pokémon franchise's sixth generation. It is a Fire/Normal-type Pokémon known for its regal appearance and gender-based evolution. Male Pyroar have majestic manes, while females have a more streamlined look. Its design and abilities make it a notable addition to the roster of Fire-type Pokémon.
18 Vivillon Vivillon, known in Japan as ビビヨン (viviyon) is a dual Bug-Flying type Pokémon in the Pokémon series. It is often criticized for being number 666 in the national Pokédex. This is pretty odd, as it resembles a butterfly.
19 Hoopa Hoopa, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
20 Talonflame Talonflame is a dual-type Fire/Flying Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon franchise's sixth generation. It evolves from Fletchinder and is known for its swift and graceful flight. Talonflame's signature move, Brave Bird, showcases its daring and fearless nature in battles. Its fiery plumage and aerial prowess contribute to its role as a popular and powerful Pokémon.
21 Florges Florges, known in Japan as the same name, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
22 Braixen Braixen is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon franchise's sixth generation. It evolves from Fennekin and is characterized by its witch-like appearance and the twig it carries. Braixen's twig can be used to cast spells and generate flames for attacks. Its design reflects its potential for... read more
