Shock G was a co-founder and leader of the group and was the only constant member. His roles in the group were lead singer and rapper, songwriter and beatmaker.
2 Chopmaster J
Chopmaster J was also a co-founder of the group and was known for his drumming and instrumentals for the group.
3 Kenny-K
Kenny-K was the third of the co-founders of Digital Underground. Kenny-K sadly past away in 1994.

Tupac joined the group in the year 1990, This is where his professional career was launched and where the name 'Tupac Shakur' became known to the music world.
His role was originally a rapper and dancer for the group. Significantly, he made his recording debut with the group in 1991 on song, 'Same Song', from a film of the same name.
