Top Ten Most Disappointing MLB Teams of 2017

Yeah, it's only the 2nd month of the season, but I felt this list was totally necessary.
The Top Ten
1 Chicago Cubs The Chicago Cubs are an American professional baseball team based in Chicago, Illinois. The Cubs compete in Major League Baseball as a member club of the National League Central division.

The cubs just came off a World Series win I was not suprised when I saw them on the standings besides the team that wins or loses the World Series never really does that great the year after

Oh the defending champs... I'm not sure if it's common that Defending Champs struggle the next year or what...

They were destroyed by the brewers this season and now there is no stopping the brewers

Let Fowler go? Bat Schwarber leadoff? Overrate questionable pitchers! Thanks Theo.

2 San Francisco Giants The San Francisco Giants are a professional American baseball team based in San Francisco. The Giants compete in Major League Baseball as part of the West division of the National League. They play their home games at Oracle Park in downtown San Francisco.

They were struggling the first few games, and then Madison Bumgarner got hurt...

3 Kansas City Royals This MLB team, part of the American League Central division, hails from Kansas City, Missouri. Known for their World Series titles, they play at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals' team colors include royal blue, gold, and white.

Their performance thus far is shocking, considering it's essentially the same team that went to consecutive World Series and won a world championship. How can a team with so many players who've been All Stars have a losing record? That has to change, surely.

As a Royals fan myself I can safely say that the rebuilding process has already begun. The core that won a World Series in 2015 has reached the point of free agency and KC being a small market team will have to sacrifice

They had the worst record in the league at one point... I thought they would be a playoff contender. Guess not.

4 Toronto Blue Jays The Toronto Blue Jays are a Canadian professional baseball team based in Toronto, Ontario. The Blue Jays are a member of the East division of the American League in Major League Baseball, and play their home games at Rogers Centre.

While they did lose Edwin Encarnacion to the Indians in Free Agency, they're struggling a lot more than expected.

I hate this team. And yes I am a Canadian.

5 Pittsburgh Pirates The Pittsburgh Pirates are a professional American baseball league based in Pittsburgh. The Pirates compete in Major League Baseball as part of the Central division of the National League. They play their home games at PNC Park.

Last in their division so far. I thought they would be in at least third in their division in May. But nah.

Come on pirates get to first

6 Texas Rangers The Texas Rangers are an American professional baseball team based in Arlington, Texas located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

I thought the Rangers would be at fun team to watch, but 19-20 isn't exactly the best start.

7 Boston Red Sox The Boston Red Sox are an American professional baseball team based in Boston, Massachusetts, that competes in Major League Baseball.

They got Chris Sale in the off-season. I thought they would have a great start to their year. But they miss Big Papi.

93-69, but got bounced from the playoffs immediately. Now John Farrell is fired. RIP

8 Los Angeles Angels The Los Angeles Angels (known as the California Angels from 1965 to 1996, the Anaheim Angels from 1997 to 2004, and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 2005 to 2015) are an American professional baseball franchise based in Anaheim, California, near Los Angeles. The Angels compete in Major League Baseball as a member club of the American League West division.

With Mike Trout and Alber Pujols, and getting some players in the off-season, I thought they would be a winning team, but they're 19-21.

9 Atlanta Braves The Atlanta Braves are an American professional baseball franchise based in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The franchise competes in Major League Baseball as a member of the National League East division. They play their home games at SunTrust Park.

With Freddie Freeman, Matt Kemp, Julio Teheran, and recruiting some veterans, I thought the Braves would be fun to watch, but so far, they have the worst record.

10 Los Angeles Dodgers The Los Angeles Dodgers are an American professional baseball team based in Los Angeles, California. The Dodgers compete in Major League Baseball as a member club of the National League West division.

They struggled a lot earlier, but they're improving. So I'll put them last on the list, for now...

The Contenders
11 Detroit Tigers The Detroit Tigers are an American professional baseball team based in Detroit, Michigan. The Tigers compete in Major League Baseball as a member of the American League Central division.
12 Tampa Bay Rays The Tampa Bay Rays are an American professional baseball team based in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Rays compete in Major League Baseball as a member of the American League East division.
