Top 10 Most Disappointing Quarterbacks of the 2020 NFL Season
His confidence was totally shot this season. He's been missing throws he used to make with ease. He tried way too hard to play hero ball. Doug and Howie have done him no favors whatsoever though.
Even though Wentz was disappointing this year, we can all agree on one thing: The Eagles have failed him.
after a mediocre wild card season eyes were on Wentz to see if he can get back to that MVP form from 2017 the answer was no Wentz was only able to get the Eagles to a 4-11-1 record last place in the worst division in the league and he eventually got benched 3 weeks before the season ended now his O line was bad allowing a league high of 50 sacks but Wentz did himself no favors Wentz ended the season with 2620 yards 16 TD 15 INT and a completion percentage of 57.4%
Imagine if EDP445 saw this list. He'd agree big time!
Yeah Rocky wasn’t too happy with Wentz.
Haskins was coming into his second year after a mediocre rookie season and at first things looked good after a stunning upset against the Eagles week one but nothing got better for him after that going on a three game losing streak before getting benched for Kyle Allen who eventually got hurt which lead to Alex Smith taking over then something strange happened it seems all Washington needed was a game manger type QB because they went on a 4 game winning streak before Smith of hurt and Haskins had to come in one more time however the worst case scenario happened Haskins played horrible losing two games and almost losing the division before Washington panicked and rushed Alex Smith back in for the finale game and won but not before cutting Haskins. Haskins finished the season with 1,439 yards 5 TD 7 INT and a 61% completion percentage
The tides have changed and I actually don’t have a problem. You know what they say “the flowers can’t grow with the weeds in the garden”
Dwayne “no maskins” Haskins
what could be his last season with the Jets Darnold was only able to get his team to a 2-14 record now yes he did miss 4 games but even then his back up Joe Flacco looked as good if not better Darnold ended the season with 2208 yards 9 TD 11 INT and a completion percentage of 59.6%
I think Springsteen was not happy with mr Darnold that’s why he was asleep for a long time.
many were wondering whether Cam can be Tom Brady replacement but sadly that was not the case Cam had a good 2-0 start before getting on the covid list and after that his play got worse and worse every week and sadly this might be the last year for him the Patriots finished 7-9 but that was no thanks to Newton. Cam Newton finished the season with 2657 yards 8 TD and 12 rushing TD and 10 INT a completion percentage of 66%
another second year quarterback with something to prove Daniel Jones after a okay rookie season was looking to take advantage of a weak division however went one game short with a 6-10 record but Jones did not help the Giants make there case why the deserved to win the Division like when he lost 7 of his first 8 games of the season Daniel Jones finished the season with 2,943 yards 11 TD 10 INT lost 6 fumbles and completion percentage of 62.5%
I don’t think Bruce said anything about him 🤔
we all knew Foles would eventually take over for Trubisky and when he did he played just as bad as Trubisky taking them on a 6 game losing streak before getting benched for the same guy he was supposed to replace Foles finished the season with 1,852 yards 10 TD 8 INT and a completion percentage of 64.7%
after a strong ending many of us wondered if Lock was actually the future but it looks like that is not the case Lock finished 5-11 and last place in the division: Lock finished the season with 2,933 yards 16 TD 15 INT and a completion percentage of 57.3%
Jared Goff is one of the highest payed QB in the NFL and after a disappointing 2019 season we wanted to see if he can go back to his 2018 form he did not exactly do that yes he made the playoffs but he did not really lead them there with stunning losses to the Jets, dolphins and 49ers Goff finished the season with 3,952 yards 20 TD 13 INT and a 67% completion percentage
it was disappointing that he got injured earlier in the season not getting a chance to defend his NFC championship
Cousins had a slow start to the season eventually getting back on track at the midpoint but by then it was a little to late the Vikings went 7-9 and 3rd place in there division mostly because of the defense but there were about 4 games where the blame was on Cousins. Cousins ended the season with 4,265 yards 35 TD 13 INT and lost 5 fumbles and a 67.6 completion percentage
Stafford came into the 2020 season with hype from the media and fans getting into the top 10 QB ranking on almost every sports media rankings Stafford however was not able to lead the Lions anywhere near the playoffs finishing 5-11 and last place in the NFC North now it was not all 100% Stafford fault the Lions did have the worst defense but he did himself no favors like getting shutout by the Panthers or getting stomped by the Buccaneers Stafford finished the season with 4084 yards 26 TD 10 INT and completion percentage of 64.2%
after the Hopkins trade all hype was around the Cardinals and everyone thought they would at least get a wild card spot especially with the new 7th seed and at first it looked good starting the season at 5-2 and leading the division but then they started falling apart eventually needing a hail mary to keep there playoff hopes alive but lost to the Rams in week 17 which caused the Bears to take there place as the 7th seed after getting the best receiver in the NFL you would think you would at least get a wild card Kyler Murray ended the season with 3,971 yards 26 TD 11 rushing TD 12 INT and a completion percentage of 67.2
this was probably Carr last chance to be taken seriously but he and the Raiders made way to many mistakes lead to a mediocre season of 8-8 and with Mariota flashing some talent when Carr got hurt against the Chargers you have to wonder how long Carr has left. Carr ended the season with 4,103 yards 27 TD 9 INT and a completion percentage of 67.3
ever since 2017 we have been waiting for the Falcons to get back into the playoffs but every year they come no where near that and Ryan maybe part of the problem his defense did choke stupid games but Ryan like Stafford did not really help his case with his team going 4-12 and last place in the NFC South Matt Ryan ended his season with 4,581 yards 26 TD 11 INT and a completion percentage of 65%
I don't see how he was disappointing this year...
He actually did better then I expected so I don’t really agree
