Most Disappointing WWE Superstars in 2016

2016 was a complete bust for these superstars and it's confirmed that the female superstars are no longer called Divas.
The Top Ten
1 Brock Lesnar Brock Edward Lesnar is an American professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler, professional American football player, and mixed martial artist who is currently signed to WWE.

This is tough for me to rate how the Beast's year goes. All I can say here is his matches with Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton are soured and his latest match with the returning Goldberg and losing to him like a minute... not so much.

2 Roman Reigns Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoa'i (Roman Reigns) was born on May 25, 1985. He is an American professional wrestler and former professional Canadian football player. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs under ring name Roman Reigns. His finishing move is Spear and Moment of Silence. His signature move is Superman Punch. He is better known as the Powerhouse. He has won 2 WWE titles, one tag team championship as "the shield", the 2015 Royal Rumble and is a 7 time Slammy Awards winner. His Main Evented Wrestlemania for 3 years in a row since coming on the scene in WWE, and he is often considered to be the most hated babyface of all time.

What's made him the most disappointing this year is that he wins a main event at WrestleMania as WWE World Champion, has been in pointless feuds with Kevin Owens, Triple H and Rusev and what else? He still sucks on the mic and still has no talent.

3 Paige Saraya-Jade Bevis is an English professional wrestler and actress. She is signed to WWE, where she performs under the ring name Paige. ...read more.

2016 has been a bad downfall for Paige and who can blame her? She has failed 2 Wellness Policies and has going through a neck injury. It's gonna be possible for her to return to revive her career in 2017 or on the other hand she might leave WWE and stay with her hubby and former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio.

4 Karl Anderson

It was a great head-start for Anderson and Gallows to take on the tag team division, but the duo have been enter to a horrible goofball comedy act. Their... how do you called it? Oh yes, "ringpost-itis" run was horrendous and the "Old Day" segment was the worst of 2016. It's gonna be awhile until these duo take things seriously again.

5 Kalisto Emanuel Alejandro Rodriguez is a Mexican-American professional wrestler, best known for his time in WWE where he performed under the ring name Kalisto. He was released from WWE in April 2021.
6 Apollo Crews
7 Finn Balor Fergal Devitt is an Irish professional wrestler signed to WWE, where he performs on the Smackdown brand under the ring name Finn Bálor. He is a two-time NXT Champion and the first person to hold it more than once. He is also the first Universal Champion.

Things are going sweet for Balor in NXT until he made his great debut in WWE and becoming the first WWE Universal Champion. There can only be one disappointment for his year and that's the shoulder injury he suffered at Summerslam. It's not a good time to suffer an injury and he has to let go of the belt to recover. Get well soon, Finn!

Ugh, he just had to get injured, he needs to come back and mess up Samoa Joe really soon.

8 The Vaudevillains
9 Hideo Itami

There can also be some disappointments in WWE's NXT as well. Hideo has suffer a badly shoulder injury that put him out of action for 15 months. He finally made his return until yet another curse came to him with a fresh neck injury.

10 TJ Perkins Theodore James "T.J." Perkins (born September 3, 1984) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, performing on the Raw brand where he was a former and the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion under the abbreviation TJP.
The Contenders
11 Seth Rollins Colby Lopez is an American professional wrestler and actor who is signed to WWE under the ring name Seth Rollins. He is the Current Intercontinental Champion.
12 Randy Orton Randal Keith "Randy" Orton is an American professional wrestler and actor who is signed with WWE, where he is a member of the SmackDown brand. He is a 12-time world champion, having held the WWE World Championship eight times and the World Heavyweight Championship four times.

Mostly because he joined the Wyatt Family.

13 The Undertaker Mark William Calaway (born March 24, 1965), better known by his ring name The Undertaker, is an American semi-retired professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where he has worked since 1990, making him the company's longest tenured in-ring performer . Calaway began his wrestling career with World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1984 . After wrestling for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as "Mean" Mark Callous from 1989 to 1990, he signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in 1990 .
