Most Disappointing WWE Superstars in 2018

It's back, a new list of disappointments for WWE in 2018 so grab your popcorn and be ready.
The Top Ten
1 Brock Lesnar Brock Edward Lesnar is an American professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler, professional American football player, and mixed martial artist who is currently signed to WWE.

"The Beast", the "Next Big Thing" or you can called him "King of Disappointments" has done it again. Brock Lesnar hasn't been defending the Universal Title as a fighting champ and only shown on few events. Roman Reigns (of course the fans' still hating until it calms down while Roman fights another Leukemia battle) took the belt away from Brock and brings it back on RAW, but what makes it worse is Brock winning the belt back and throws it back in the dirty closet. Gotta be honest, Brock hasn't done any favors for everyone and Seth Rollins' right about him, he's a coward and cowards don't deserve to be a fighting champion. Maybe in 2019 he's drops the belt and never get an opportunity again. Why have him pick a decent opponent for a new beef and no title matches?

2 Baron Corbin Thomas Pestock is an American professional wrestler and former professional football player. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Happy Corbin. Pestock signed with WWE in 2012 and was assigned to their developmental brand NXT. He debuted on the main roster at WrestleMania 32, winning the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. During his time on the main roster, he won the 2017 Money in the Bank men's ladder match and the WWE United States Championship. In 2018, he was appointed as the General Manager of Raw and starting a feud with Kurt Angle which culminated at WrestleMania 35, with Corbin defeating Angle in his retirement match. A few ...read more.

You want Corbin on the list, you got Corbin on the list. He has fallen into an authority figure and has turned RAW into a dumpster fire when he runs the show into a huge mess. Seth Rollins has to play a resistant hero to stop Corbin's reign of terror and Braun gets help from superstars to kick Corbin outta power at TLC. Anyways, not only Corbin's a disappointing star, he's also receives a 2018 Jerk of the Year award.

3 Bayley Pamela Rose Martinez is an American professional wrestler. She is currently signed with WWE under the ring name Bayley, where she performs on Smackdown. She is the first ever women's Grand Slam Champion in WWE, winning the NXT Women's Championship once, RAW Women's Championship once, Smackdown Women's Championship twice, Women's Tag Team Championships twice alongside Sasha Banks, and Money in the Bank winner. She returned in 2022 from her ACL injury and formed a faction called "Damage CTRL".

Bayley has another awful year and disappointing one just like 2017. She has fallen in a poor Sasha/Bayley friend or foe saga and hasn't won no gold for 2018. Bayley has no luxury and lost in a babyface no-man's-land, but hopefully 2019 will be a fresh start for the Hugger.

4 Sasha Banks Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE under the ring name Sasha Banks, where she is a former NXT Women's Champion.

She is a 5 Time Raw Women's champion although she has never held it for more than 30 days. ...read more.

Like Bayley, Sasha has a terrible 2018 and hasn't won any gold because... well, who the hell knows? Anyways, Sasha is finally getting a title opportunity vs Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble but hopefully bring the boss attitude at high point in 2019.

5 Shinsuke Nakamura Shinsuke Nakamura is a Japanese professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist currently signed to WWE competing on Smackdown Live. Nakamura is known for his work in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a former three-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. His other accomplishments within the company include winning the 2011 G1 Climax and the 2014 New Japan Cup, being a record five-time and the longest reigning IWGP Intercontinental Champion.

Winning the Royal Rumble and winning the U.S. Championship was great for Nakamura, but also comes with an underwhelming year. He's been involved in meaningless rivalries and matches, destroys Jeff Hardy in short seconds for winning the U.S. Championship and as champion was underdeveloped. Maybe it'll be better next time if Nakamura stay as a babyface and forget all that.

I expected his match against Styles at WrestleMania 34 to be a classic and one of the most talked about matches in recent memory, but instead, somehow, the match was boring and under delivered. Shinsuke was great in NXT, but the main roster's slow, more protective pace made him boring.

I don't understand I fought the curse was over, but instead he lost in stupid ways to A.J. Styles, and instead is lowered down to mid card status going after the U.S title are you kidding me!

6 Nia Jax Savelina Fanene is an American plus-size model and professional wrestler best known for her time in WWE under the ring name, Nia Jax. On the March 12 episode of Raw, Jax turned face for the first time in her WWE career, after she was insulted and betrayed by former best friend Alexa Bliss who body shamed her and made fun of her personality. This led to the announcement of a match between the two, set for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 34. Nia won the match to capture the Raw Women's Championship, marking the first title win of her career. The following night, she teamed with the debuting Ember Moon to defeat Bliss and James. On the April 23 episode of Raw, it was announced that ...read more.

Things did go well for Nia when winning her first title at WrestleMaia 34, but things has turn from heartwarming to a brain-damaging year when Nia has done a terrible job on a mic and fall in pointless feuds including Ronda Rousey, Ember Moon and Natalya. WWE Creative or Mr. McMahon has turned Nia into a laughing cow and still is as of right now.

7 Bobby Lashley Franklin Robert "Bobby" Lashley is an American professional wrestler, mixed martial artist, and former collegiate amateur wrestler and former United States Army sergeant currently signed to both Bellator MMA, where he is undefeated through four heavyweight fights, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, where he is the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion in his fourth reign.

Segments after segments, Bobby Lashley has fallen over these ridiculous segments such as the Lashley sisters from potty-mouth Sami Zayn and Jinder Mahal's shanti meditation. Things has changes when WWE Creative turned him into a heel Hercules along with a hype maggot, Lio Rush to even the odds and at the end, it works.

They just ruined his return with those stupid storylines with Sami Zayn and his team with Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin.

8 Asuka Kanako Urai is a Japanese professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Asuka. She is currently signed to WWE, where she performs on the RAW brand. She is a former Smackdown Women's Champion, RAW Women's Champion, Women's Tag Team Champion and a former and longest reigning NXT Women's Champion. She is also the winner of the first ever women's Royal Rumble match.

Sure, Asuka did won the first ever Women's Royal Rumble, but why did she lose at WrestleMania 34 and have her undefeated streak ended? WWE Creative wasted time tearing her character apart, made her proceeded to lose a rivalry to Carmella and take Naomi on as a tag team partner to fall in the Iiconics beef. She finally won a Smackdown Women's Championship at TLC, but it was long overdue. Not sure what's next for her in 2019, but the year 2018 will haunt her memories.

9 Finn Balor Fergal Devitt is an Irish professional wrestler signed to WWE, where he performs on the Smackdown brand under the ring name Finn Bálor. He is a two-time NXT Champion and the first person to hold it more than once. He is also the first Universal Champion.

Finn did pick up some wins for 2018, but he hasn't gotten a title opportunity for that year and it left him empty-pocketed. Will 2019, be the right time to win a belt? I bet he'll do, except my cousins.

10 Bobby Roode Robert Roode Jr. is a Canadian professional wrestler currently signed to WWE performing on the Smackdown brand. He is a former Smackdown Tag Team Champion alongside Dolph Ziggler.

He may have won a couple of title wins in 2018, but it's an ok year, not a good year for Roode.

14 Roman Reigns Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoa'i (Roman Reigns) was born on May 25, 1985. He is an American professional wrestler and former professional Canadian football player. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs under ring name Roman Reigns. His finishing move is Spear and Moment of Silence. His signature move is Superman Punch. He is better known as the Powerhouse. He has won 2 WWE titles, one tag team championship as "the shield", the 2015 Royal Rumble and is a 7 time Slammy Awards winner. His Main Evented Wrestlemania for 3 years in a row since coming on the scene in WWE, and he is often considered to be the most hated babyface of all time.

Even after he won the Universal title it was irrelevant because they put him in the SHIELD and didn't defend it as often as I wanted. I know he suffering with Leukemia but his 2018 run was lackluster. Get better big dog.

15 Braun Strowman Adam Scherr is an American professional wrestler and former strongman. He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs under the ring name Braun Strowman. In WWE, he is a one-time Universal Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, and a two-time Raw Tag Team Champion.
